evening the hollywood reporter broke the sad news that ann blyth passed away yesterday wednesday june 24 at the age of 98 some other sources had her age at 97 regardless blyth was one of the last stars of the classic hollywood era and earliest surviving nominee of the best supporting actress oscar she was nominated in 1945 for her performance as my favorite character and villain veda pierce in demandi own this film as part of a marx bros collection but last night was the type of night where i just needed to find something short under 90 mins to watch and something that didn t require a lot original adaptations of the classic story of a spouse returning after being presumed dead only to find that their spouse has remarried this film came out at about the same time as another film from
