the twitchell family skip to main skip to sidebar the twitchell family jun 4 2010 my kindergarten grad kenli did so well in kindergarted she had so much fun this year for their graduation they did a circus it was so much fun to watch i thought id be in the hospital for this day so i was very greatful to be there kenli was a tight rope walker she did so good and was so cute what a fun day they sang lots of songs which i have to say singing is one of her favorite things to do one of the moms that helped in her class ask me one day if kenli was mine i was a little worried at what she would tell me about her and she said she is so cute she sings and hums the whole time she works on papers i love that about kenli we are so greatful for all the fun friends she made this year we have such great families around us this was kenlis teacher mrs parker she was so fun and kenli already misses her we are greatful for all she did this is my graduate i cannot believe she is 6 61 2 as kenli would remind me where does the time go she is already counting down the days til 1st grade i love you love bug posted by ronda at 3 20 pm 5 comments may 24 2010 meet our miracles april 19th was a bad day at our house i went to the doctor for a regular check up and they did an ultrasound they verified that the loss of fluid that i had at 19 weeks was none other than amniotic fluid and that baby b had no fluid in his sac they immediately called specialists and others which turned into bed rest at eirmc after 4 1 2 weeks of strict bedrest and lots of motitoring ivs blood thinner shots catheters sponge baths bed pans blood tests baby a s water breaking at 26 weeks scary moments that the babys were not cooperating and so forth i hit 29 weeks gage and ryder decided to join us very quickly this is gage he weighed in at 2 pounds 15 ounces and 14 inches he had a very rough start his water had been broken for 10 weeks and his lungs took a toll they had a very very hard time stabilizing him he would not respond to anything the doctors tried they sent a very good friend nurse in to tell us he was not going to make it after we could get someone there willy gave him a blessing and immediately gage started to make a little progress and from there he has only been progessing each day and is very stable and doing great this is ryder what a good boy he weighed 3 pounds 4 ounces and was 16 inches long his water had only been broken for 2 weeks his lungs were okay he had a few problems but quickly turned around and let us know he wanted to be here he is also progressing each day i was able to hold baby ryder for one hour a day after he was 2 days old it was very scary and shocking to hold such a tiny little baby i was finally able to hold gage yesterday for the first time for just a few minuets my heart is so full of graditude for such blessings today i held them together for the first time they did so well together and held all their numbers up that i was able to hold them for 2 hours this is the definition of pure happiness joy welcome ryder james and gage ross we know the meaning of miracle we have never felt so strongly the love of our heavenly father mostly through other people we truly have been so blessed with great friends family ward members neighbors and strangers thank you so much to all those around us that have helped especially the prayers we feel the power behind so many prayers and for those who have taken care of my little family while i could not be there these have been the most trying weeks of all our lives but also the most faith building we have very greatful hearts posted by ronda at 10 11 pm 19 comments jan 8 2010 yes twins its true ok so the news is out i keep getting phone call after phone call asking if this is true willy and i decided that we would just tell our parents and siblings only because i am so sick and it wasnt hard to guess over the holidays well after the first few phone calls i finally ask willy how the word spread so quickly and he informed me that he mentioned it to all his classes that he teaches ummmm hello oh well its out and early i am only a little over 10 weeks because the dr decided to move my due date back a week and yes it is twins i have never been so shocked in all my life no there is not any in our families i am over the initial shock and am having a hard time swallowing the fact that we will have 5 kids nevertheless i am excited and am only praying that they are healthy and that i make it to the end weighing less than 500 pounds posted by ronda at 2 36 pm 16 comments jan 7 2010 landyns 4th birthday landyns birthday was so fun we went to the new bounce house in the rex my kids and their cousins had so much fun then we ate at pizza hut which is always yummy and then back here to have cake and icecream at the end of her day landyn kept saying that she loved her birthday and that she wants to do it again tomarro as a mom thats always nice to hear i always let my kids pick what kind of cake they want and then i try to pull it off the best i can landi could not make up her mind this year so i just surprised her with a bubble gum machine cake it totally flopped litteraly fell over so the end result was not as pretty as it should have been i had to tell landi what it was so sad love you landyn posted by ronda at 12 21 pm 3 comments christmas these are pictures of christmas morning i used to be so good at taking pictures and lately have been terrible i dont have any other pictures of any parties or fun events we had a lots of family parties and then spent christmas eve with willys family most of the afternoon and then my family for the evening christmas day was way more relaxing we got up at 7 30 my kids have not gotten into the waking up early stuff yet thank goodness and then opened gifts and played for most of the day we went and had dinner with my family that afternoon for the most part it was a great day we were all very spoiled as usual
