the first one in le puy en velay in 1982 the next congress is the 22nd oidfa world lace congress and general assembly 202 7 to be held in lanzarote spain 18 26 april 2027 the congress allows lacemakers from all over the world to meet other people who have the same field of interest to exhibit their lace works to exchange ideas and to transmit knowledge about their art the 3rd oidfa
