tually have quite a few products from this collection so i added in a tag that i used as my title some chipboard and some adhesive brads i used lots of little odds ends of colorful paper scraps to mat my photos this was a great way to use up little pieces that i wouldn t know what to do with otherwise i created some clusters behind my title using some doilies by bo bunny and some speech bible stickers i found at daiso i hand stitched some cross stitches in rainbow hues and added some rainbow bar stickers from the pressed florals sticker book by the happy planner i added a few camera stickers by navy peony and sprinkles some purple rhinestones by cousin diy around the page lastly i added some dragonfly brads by eyelet outlet this page was made using sketch 708 from sketches in thyme i used doilies as the circular element and placed my horizontal strip of rainbow paper along the bottom of the page since i wanted to feature more of this paper i added another piece to the left may 15 2026 by stan moniz photography today is okay layout mashup hello again this week i am back with color dare with a new color challenge for this page i used a picture of my kitty jupiter i swear half of my camera roll is photos of my pets does anyone else do the same thing i started with some thick white paper designed for mixed media and used it as my background i then used some paper scraps and some dot paper by an unknown brand to add some strips across the top i watered down some acrylic paint to make some drips down the bottom half of the page i used more scraps to add multiple mats behind my photo and then embellished with some puffy stickers by simple stories journaling strips by tim holt z ephemera by vicki boutin and my mind s eye and some stickers by amy tangerine i found a chipboard bicycle one of those weird old timey ones and painted it brown to match i added some pink enamel dots to finish the page join us at color dare for an all new color challenge make a project with at least 2 of the colors above i used all 3 and added some brown and white as well the page was also made for for l ove2stamp s nsd gallery layout challenge w a twist i used the two layouts above one by jessica michaels and one by cristiocornman as reference and combined elements from both into one new layout i incorporated paper strips and journaling strips from layout 1 and paint drips a by stan moniz photography my favorite murder live dies and tags hi everyone this week i present to you a very fun page featuring photos taken when i went to go see the podcast my favorite murder live in san diego hosts karen and georgia each presented a true crime story with ties to san diego filled with witty banter sarcasm and equal parts comedy and empathy i started with some paper from the color kaleidoscope collection by vicki boutin i had originally intended to use the reverse side which featured rainbow hearts but the page would have been way too busy and chaotic all the other papers are are from my stash of scraps and i used plain black cardstock with alpha dies by echo park paper and tim holtz as well a beehive die set to create my title and some hexagonal shapes i also made some banners and tags using some punches i then added two tags from my stash that featured glamorous retro women and found a sticker book with stickers that had a similar feel i added in some clear buttons metal stickers adhesive rhinestones and some brads to affix my tags this is a rare case where i did not use a sketch to make my page instead a followed along with louise s nsd 2026 progressive challenge following 4 individual steps without knowing what would come next and essentially created this page blind i really like how it turned out in the end that s all for this week join me soon for beach tropical page created using some photos taken in bimini bahamas the resort had an incredible view at the dock and the water was so clear that you could clearly see sharks and rays cutting their way through the water right off the dock i started with some mint green paper from arden s seasons of joy cardstock stack as my background i found a collection of 12 x 12 transparencie s that i d never opened and chose a section out of a chevron patterned page i positioned it on the left and then tore some edges of a scrap of peach paper and used it as a boarder at the top and bottom of my page i used mix of spray inks from stamperia and ranger to color some white doilies and then used some pale blue text paper to mat my photos i added a stenciled element in the corners with some glossy glaze and a stencil by vicki boutin and embellished using ephemera by simple stories minty papers and albumlovehandmade the enamel dots are from several different sheets by altenew this page was made for amanda s park it right there nsd challenge where we needed to created a project with a color palette inspired by a national park i chose this one for dry tortugas national park because i liked the usually create back to back pages work other hobbies and life in general limit my scrapbooking to about once a week but in honor of national scrapbooking day i m going to try to create a few more pages than usually since there are literally dozens of scrapbook challenges currently going on at a cherry on top crafts this page is made using some photos of my kitty jupiter i matched the warm tones in these sunny photos with some peachy papers from 49 and market and dcwv i matted the smaller peach square and my photos with white cardstock and then rounded some of the corners on a scrap of heart paper and some polka dot paper from the hello little girl 6 x 8 stack and layered them behind my photos i then added some peach fibers and affixed them to the page with little peach brads i used carta bella chipboard stickers from the soak up the sun and good day sunshine collections as well as some dessert stickers from an unknown brand to create little embellishment clusters i used a stencil by aall create and stencil butter by the crafter s workshop to add some mixed media elements and finished with 2 little clusters of enamel dots this page was created for flasher s ice cream truck challenge running until may 18 for national scrapbooking day the challenge is to create a page inspired by one of the sweet treats above i chose the strawberry shortcake bar because that s my favorite and to this day i will occasionally buy a box of them from the store the stenciled elements are meant to look a little bit like the crumbs on the outside of the bar and i chose to use white cardstock to mat my photos and the peach square to simulate the ring of vanilla ice cream inside this page was also made for the soul scrappers may sketch challenge i stayed pretty true to the sketch for a change including the use of a tag fibers and 2 photos that s all for this layout i may be back sooner than you think for another national scrapbook day challenge may 05 2026 stan moniz photography comment scrapbook challenge may 02 2026 by stan moniz photography cheers antique florals hi scrappers may means it s national scrapbook day on may 2nd in honor of this auspicious occasion i will try and participate in all the additional challenges that are happening at a cherry on top i wish there were more hours in the day the photo i chose was taken at a wedding reception for one of my dear friends i feel really blessed that i still have a core group of friends from collage we all met in anime club that i still see multiple times a year i started with some subtly patterned paper from the 49 and market curiosities in willow grove collection as my background all the other papers used on this page came from my stash of scraps including the antique floral paper that i tore at a diagonal and inked and distressed the edges with a paper towel very high tech and mixed media aqua color by stamperia in the color leather i used a die set by momenta to create three tags and added brads and different fibers to each i created a collage around my photo using various stickers and ephemera including ephemera and bits pieces from simple stories junk drawer collection the aesthetic of these embellishments really matched the look i was going for i added in a chipboard piece by 49 and market enamel dots by honey bee stamps and some metallic gold fringe which i affixed to the page with tiny gold brads i made a similar cluster to hold my title which is a mixed media sticker by momenta i framed it all with a sticker by an unknown brand that looks liked layered paper and lace another perfect find for this page this page was made for ann s grab 5 nsd challenge a list was provided with items that could be used in our project and we had to pick 5 below is the complete list challenge 702 may 01 2026 by stan moniz photography bixby creek bridge bold title with fussy cutting hi scrappers i m back from a quick vacation to the pacific northwest that was lots of fun and very refreshing and also my excuse for not making very many new pages this month the page i have for you today uses some photos taken in front of the famous bixby creek bridge that s located along california s central coast it s very old and very unique not to mention surrounded by beautiful ocean views it s a popular spot for travelers to stop and take pictures on their way to places like big sur or carmel by the sea i used purple paper by 49 and market because it matched my jacket in the photos i then chose a piece of paper with gray and green flowers brand unknown and fussy cut some flowers and leaves out to use as embellishments i also used some die cuts by tim holtz with this same paper to make my bold title it really stands out against the dark purple paper i double matted my photos with scraps i already had and used the last bit of purple insect paper left over in the lower left corner i added a paper scrap with green foliage to the upper right corner for balance i m thrilled to say i actually used up two items from my stash some simple stories ephemera and brads by bo bunny does that justify the roughly 10 new products i just bought this month nope but at least i m working through older items i finished with some bejeweled metal stickers pearl enamel dots by craft consortium bunny brads by eyelet outlet and some laser cut elements by 49 and market i was going to mist the page with some new slate gray ink i got but opted for white paint because the contrast would be better i think it was the right call join us at color dare and create a project using 2 or all of the colors shown i feel like this was a really unique color combo and i had fun putting my page together this page was also made for the cherry lift challenge at a cherry top crafts i chose the colors hi scrappers this week i created a page using some photos taken in catalina the island is a popular destination for scuba divers and the steps i was standing on lead down to the entry point in the ocean for my background i used navy paper from arden s seasons of joy solids stack i cut down some pale paper by 49 and market and then layered an assortment of paper scraps vertically i used a tag punch to create some tags and then added stickers by bo bunny and american crafts the title is a sticker from the quotes sticker book by the happy planner i used my mary uchida punch to create some tags and decorated them with stickers i used a spare piece of twine and threaded it through one of the tags i added a scattering of enamel dots by echo park paper to finish the page join us at photos taken in a hammock during a trip to bimini bahamas i liked that the buildings in the background were also yellow and matched what i had planned for my page i started with some basic white cardstock by american crafts and then created my own background with a combination of alcohol ink and acrylic paint i trying using watered down paint with a kaiser craft acrylic stamp just to see what
