say when you see a primary three guy perspiringly in the kitchen cooking for a family of five while a pile of school s homework was awaiting him ahead mind you to be schooled in the chinese primary needs a very high tenacity especially when it comes to completing piles of homework writing essays and chinese calligraphy learning grammars and ancient poems etc and i remember it had once become an issue when most of the chinese schools students had no choice but to shoulder bounteous school s bags everyday my engrossment in cooking became quite formidable ever since my family started doing business on school s canteens and food catering waking up early in the morning at 4 30am was another endurance and before school i would help out preparing soto and gado gado to be sold or frying curry puffs and later that would rush to school my dad registered a license to be qualified expanding our business on food catering under the name ruzlyza cafe ruzlyza is a combination of our three siblings names fairuz faizly and faireza and it was adumbrated by mama who believed that rezeki anak anak would someday change our family life by god s will under that combined names alhamdullilah our business went out lustrously and request upon request every week seemed like no holidays for us from hundreds to thousand people to be catered and from an hour of nap to no sleeping hours at all had been our bread and butter this routine of life continued until my secondary school up to form 5 and there was no any other specific thing i would do except dancing with the kuali or kawah which were excessively big in size study time yeap i did study but most of the time amidst waiting the beef which took for hours to be fully cooked or break time so i stole some times there mama was quite anxious on how i managed my studies therefore she sent me to night and weekends tuition classes bm add math modern math and english the rest of the subjects were merely lied on my own and i used to keeping my finger crossed thus morning to school afternoon in the kitchen and night to tuition classes somehow to some extent i just wanted to give up thinking of how hectic my life was but upon seeing how hard mama striving for three of us every dribbled sweats counted just to pay our school s fees and tuition classes i proved myself wrong and started to infer the meaning of mom s sacrifices who had been longing for her children s success early in the morning which was a doom day for me dad received a call from my aunt who s working in jabatan pendidikan calling up to announce my spm results i just didn t dare listening to the conversation and getting to know what had been up to my results mama walked close to me with her eyes bursting into tears and sweating shirt she gave me a big warmth hug and whispered into my ears with her crackling voice son congrats to you a really despondent ambience early in the morning i had ever felt my whole life even though to me it s still a minute reciprocation i had ever done yeap till now my family is still engaging with food business and if to count how long the duration we have been engrossing in it i would rather ask you lets count her in a big grin so now besides having overwrought courses day by day there comes another a not so significant requisition but i definitely won t eschew it since that she made a request parallel to my propensity already most of them have been acquainted faizuri kun is good in cooking mind you someone has started calling me chef duh last thursday i decided to have singapore fried noodles for lunch and for all of the not really fancy free guys as well every now and then i m not sure if there s such a menu because to my cognizance as part of the families who enjoy dining out trying all over the restaurants that serve any kind of cuisine this menu seems like never been dwelled on instead of noodles probably most or perhaps all of the restaurants have been serving singapore fried bihun pardon me if you ever happened to find out one that serves both thus should i say it s sort of improvised culinary never mind it the taste always counts and deemed oh i did also bring a small quarter sized lunch box for ishii cyan to have a try and she would pass it around among the girls to at least have a nibble on it yeah it went without saying as usual again meccha oishii itsumo oishii bentou tsukette moratte nanimo okane wo harawazuni tabesasetette waruikedo arigatou ne faizuri ishii cyan murmured realizing that it s not really sweet to frequently accept bentou without making any payment others exalted as well until maiko cyan came up asking me for the recipe right after i d done with my zohor prayer thus not to chagrin her i fulfilled her entreaty instead of strenuously working on my poster writing up the recipe was more than cardinal yeah a procrastinator is still a procrastinator even though he knew that the doom day was the next day and at brink luckily he didn t screw everything up during the poster session haha i typed the menu down in japanese and had it printed 5 copies early in the morning which was friday i handed them to maiko cyan and she starred me with amiable smile arigatou faizuri konsyuumatsu tanoshimini jibun de tsukutte mitai maiko cyan couldn t help herself promptly wanting to try the recipe during the weekend and i d promised her to list down more new menus and recipes yeap as usual an extra bentou for the girls as shishoku aka food tasting coming next week regardless the absence of ishii cyan nakama cyan and megumi cyan who have been allocated to other places it was kind of heart rending not to have them around but to some extent i m glad that i did have the opportunities to share something new with them as sweet reminiscences for them to bring before they left with ishii cyan during the aministrative employees farewell party megumi cyan with her cute peace maiko cyan with a handsome but not so handsome if to compare to faizuri prices kakiage soba udon that only cost you half the price from the usual one you have in your school canteen or any other soba udon restaurants yet everyone or is it just the malaysian finds hard to abide with the demarcated choices to tell the truth not more than 10 main dishes being prepared everyday minus 6 to 7 dishes contained beef pork and whatnot so how many left we have i mean we the muslim could consume always been part of the clamors let alone the soy sauce and miso paste that have not been my liking i still prefer the kantou s to kansai s and today was the first day we brought our own bentou aka lunch box from home just an austere nasi goreng kampung garnished with bawang goreng and sausages topping prepared by yours truly who else to prepare when your friends know something significant hidden beneath your penchant especially the least one people would expect the guys will do anyhow since that it has been my daily fondness why should there be a big no no right to my stupefaction my house mate admitted that it burst him into slightly tears for the lunch box i made for him i was kind of filled to the brim of blithe feelings yeah to him it could be a big sacrifice i d ever made woke up early in the morning preparing all the ingredients and condiments just for a nasi goreng while he was still on the duvet sleeping like a log he should have known a child whose family is running food related business has more than experienced serving a thousand of people compare to just serving for two so my bad not telling him from the very beginning but doesn t he sound so cute back to the nasi goreng a colleague of mine passed by our table while on our way to the cafe holding in the hand was the lunch box she was curious on what was inside the box thus she
