to get more of the collection for the names but i am waiting for them to go one sale somewhere with the being said i did pick up show us your tips because of the name duh i think it s hilarious and i think the shade is unique it reminds of a cross between smooth sailing and bikini so teeny from essie those shades are still at my house in cincinnati otherwise i would compare them here for you it is a baby blue shade with a dense silver microglitter it took three coats to build this shade up to opacity but i was expecting that i have a couple more polishes from opi that have this formula and they all take three coats well it is a thin polish but it is not too thin that you feel like it is going to run all over your nail it make it pretty easy to work with since you need three coats and they dry pretty quickly these shades can also be a bit of a pain to remove from my experiences in the past i tend to like to use pure acetone to make the job a little bit easier i am a little undecided about how i feel about this shade on me i like the color a lot on its own but i don t know that it looks the best on me while this polish might be a little more time consuming with three coats needed it is easy to work with if this is a shade you are interested in i do recommend it beauty blue cosmetics current nails makeup microglitter nails nails of the day new orleans opi review show us your dr bronner s magic soap in bar from to clean her brushes i have been meaning to pick it up since then but you all know what happens when you walk into target you forget the one thing you came in for and leave with a bunch of stuff you don t need i finally made it a point to make it the first thing i picked up on a recent target trip so i wouldn t forget i went for the lavender scented one because i thought it would be nice for my brushes to have a lavender scent i know that there are way more scents but i have only seen lavender and peppermint at target there is a tea tree one that i really want to get because tea tree oil can be used to treat acne and all sorts of other conditions so it would be great to use on your brushes i am not even going to lie i have been really bad when it comes to cleaning my brushes i have not cleaned them since i moved to cleveland so they were in desperate need of a cleaning i set up at the kitchen sink with the bar sitting on the side of the sink and grabbed my essential brushes the first brush i picked up was my bronzer brush seriously only after a few swipes over the soap all of the product was out of my brush i grabbed my super dirty foundation brush it took a few more passes over the soap but very quickly it was completely clean like shockingly clean then i grabbed my blush brush and the same thing happened every single one of my brushes came completely clean without very little effort the soap smells amazing and you can feel how moisturizing the soap is as you are using it the soap contains a lot of oils that will condition the brush as well as clean it i was so happy with the results that i went and grabbed all of my makeup brushes and decided to clean them all you can hardly tell that the soap was used so i know i am going to get a ton of use out of it as well it seems so weird to be so in love with a soap for cleaning your brushes but i cannot believe how quickly and how clean it got my brushes i have never been one to spend a fortune on products to clean my brushes because you literally wash it right down the sink i paid around 5 for this soap and the results to me are astounding i totally see why i have seen people rave about using this to clean their brushes as soon as i finished i texted all of my friends and told them that they needed to go out and buy this and i say the same to you all i highly recommend that you pick this up and give it a try for cleaning your brushes i think you will immediately fall in love as well beauty brush cleanser brushes cleaning cosmetics dr bronners magic soap reviews on the blog i have been testing quite a few products out lately a couple of weeks ago i stumbled across a display that had some new covergirl primers on it of course i have really dry skin so i chose the one for dry skin but if you have oily or combination skin covergirl also makes primers for those skin types as well one of the first things i noticed about this primer when i squeezed some out is that it has an awful smell its kind of something i expect from covergirl makeup products and that is why i tend to avoid them it has a slight fake chemically makeup smell to be honest it kinds of reminds of me of the smell of elmer s glue which you know is not really appealing when it comes to a product you are putting on your face it feels more like a moisturizer than your typical silicone heavy primers it has a lightweight feel that blends easily into the skin it does smooth the skin over but if you have a lot of textural issues you re not going to get much from this primer makeup goes on nicely over the primer i have tried several different foundations with this primer and they all tend to have the same result i am currently working 8 hour days and by the time i get off of work i am feeling and look greasy which is very odd for me because there are times i feel like i could bathe in oil and it still wouldn t matter there is something the way this primer interacts with the makeup that causes it to break down and look and feel this way and like i said it does not matter which foundation i wear it with this primer costs around 10 and it seems like it would be a great drugstore option especially for dry skin because those can be hard to find even in a higher end market but unfortunately this primer did not perform for me at all from the awful glue smell to the greasy appearance at the end of the day i would rather purchase my more expensive primers that i know will do the job beauty cosmetics covergirl drugstore dry skin face primer makeup review tru blend received a sample of the new orly epix line the polish shade that i received was headliner which is a warm neon pink i am a little familiar with the epix line but i had tried it up until this point i have heard hit or miss things from other friends that i have tried and was curious to see how it would perform for me for one you are not supposed to apply a base coat with this line and i usually am not a fan of those type of systems for one that can lead to staining and secondly base coats tend to smooth the nail over and give the polish something to stick to but i decided to go ahead and wear this like you are actually supposed to and not wear the base coat it took three coats of the polish to get it to look somewhat even and opaque neons are pretty tricky to deal with to begin with because they usually do apply streaky and patchy i really would have liked to have done another coat but seriously who wants to do four coats of nail polish the coats of polish did dry pretty quickly at least the top coat added some shine but was nothing to write home about the big claim of this line is that the polish is actually flexible so chipping should be reduced and wear time should be increased the morning after applying this polish i had to do some chopping for a beef stew that i was making after i was done i looked down and two of my nails had chipped you will notice one in the photos i was pretty disappointed by that because i had not even done anything very intense i thought it would be all chipped off by the end of the day but shockingly no more chipping occurred i was able to wear it for three more days before more chipping occurred that was a day that i had to clean snow and ice off of my car all in all i am a little undecided about this polish system i am curious to pick up another shade and see how it performs i definitely would go for a shade that is not a neon so i could hopefully get a better application from it i also am interested in trying it with a base coat to see how it applies and wear with one have you guys tried the orly epix line before what are your thoughts beauty cosmetics current nails epix headliner makeup nail polish nails nails of sephora order origins is a line that i am starting to become interested in and would like to try some of their products out i have used their overnight hydrating mask and it was fantastic this mask claims to be a retexturizing mask so it is going to exfoliate and deeply cleanse the skin now many of you may know that i do have dry skin so these deep cleansing pore refining masks are not something that i do very often because they can be too much for me but i do like to mix them in especially when my skin is feeling a little problematic this mask actually has exfoliating beads in so you get some physical exfoliation when you apply and take the mask off it also has rose clay in it which is what purifies the pores i didn t find the mask to be too abrasive when applying like i did with the glamglow mask after it was on for a minute or so i could really feel my skin tightening up from the clay i didn t have any tingling or any other sensations from the mask i washed it off after 10 minutes and it came off pretty easily and again it does give yo that physical exfoliation from the beads in the product i did notice that my skin felt smoother and did look brighter after using the mask the next morning i felt the same way my makeup looked really good after applying as well one last thing to make note of it does have a rose scent to it that does last the entire time the product is on overall i enjoyed this mask and it is one that i will continue to keep in my repertoire to use when my skin is needing it for my dry skin this will not be a mask that i use regularly because i can tell that it would really dry my skin out but for those of you with a more combination oily skin type i think you would love this mask for a more regular use beauty cosmetics dry skin face mask bath bomb pretty much based on scent alone it has sandalwood in it which i love so when i finally got a chance to take a relaxing bath this is the first one i went for you can tell from the picture that this bath bomb does contain glitter as you put it in the water it looks like a creamsicle it fizzes orange and white for most of the bomb but as it goes more colors start to come out the scent is also as incredible as i thought it would be almost the entire apartment smelled like this bath bomb after using it the water also felt super moisturizing i will say the color orange that it turns at the end is not as pretty as you thought it was going to be it doesn t stay that bright orange shade because of the rainbow colors that comes out it ends up being more of a muddied orange shade definitely not a deal breaker though if you are looking for your first bath bomb to try i absolutely recommend this one i do think that this is my favorite lush item that i have tried and it might even become a must have item for me i love the scent and my skin felt incredible afterwards bath bomb beauty cosmetics lush makeup review yoga bomb leave a comment 5 feb 2016 ulta haul posted in haul urban decay by crm15084 as you might have seen my birthday was last week and we all know that multiple retailers give us birthday perks ulta offers a free birthday gift to all reward members along a 10 off coupon for platinum members only i wanted to take advantage of the coupon because it works on prestige cosmetics so i stopped in to see what i wanted the current birthday gift is a sample size of the benefit roller lash mascara i feel so so about the ulta birthday gifts because they change throughout the year the most previous one was a full sized bare minerals lip gloss so it does feel a little disappointing to have gotten a small size mascara that you can get throughout the year as a free gift i know it isn t exactly right to complain about a free gift i just wish ulta would pay more attention to the gifts to ensure a level of fairness to each customer i picked up two of the urban decay gwen stefani lipsticks i was undecided about whether or not i was going to pick any up but i love the packaging and it is also the revolution formula which i love you also get more product in these than the original revolution lipsticks for less money i picked up the shade firebird the fuchsia shade and spiderweb the red shade after i swatched spiderweb i couldn t put it down it s a red lipstick which i have multiple of but something about this one just kept drawing me in i also really love the song spiderweb which was probably also an influence on my decision i think i actually behaved myself quite well in ulta this time there is so much new makeup out but just these lipsticks were calling my name look out for separate reviews on these in the future beauty cosmetics firebird gwen stefani haul lipstick makeup spiderweb ulta urban decay 2 comments 4 feb 2016 marc jacobs highliner gel crayon review posted in eyeliner review by crm15084 earlier in the month on a sephora trip the girl gave me my free birthday gift the set this year is a marc jacobs set that contains a mini highliner gel crayon in blacquer and a lipstick in the shade kiss kiss bang bang i was so excited to try the eyeliner because i have heard nothing but amazing things about it i have heard that these are the best eyeliners to tight line and use in the water line and that they do not transfer my mally eyeliner is basically gone so i am almost in the market for a new eyeliner and love that i got to try this one out before spending money on it the highliner gel crayon s are an automatic pencil that you can twist the product up and down which definitely makes life easier especially if you are someone that travels i recently forgot to take my sharpener with me and couldn t use the eyeliner that i brought with me the product itself is super creamy and pigmented it doesn t tug at the skin when applying and you do not have to make multiple passes for it to be opaque it is also a true rich dark black s...
