this site home portfolios of images blog birds butterflies dragonflies drag racing about this site many thanks for visiting i am a norfolk uk based amateur photographer with a variety of interests from searching quiet countryside for birds and butterflies to the adrenaline rush of mighty dragsters a bit jekyll hyde you might say in this blog i hope to share with you some of my images and experiences check out the home page for portfolios of images of my favourite moments the blog page is short accounts for latest posts see the column on the right also on the right are separate pages that may be of interest i have been a nature lover from a very young age living in norfolk gives me access to some superb sites however it s nice to visit other parts of the country to see and photograph new species drag racing is another of my interests my first visit to a meeting was in 1975 and i still love it the noise smell colour speed and close up action is addictive this is the worlds fastest most powerful motorsport i started taking photographs as a small child when i was given a box brownie later i had various 110 instamatics before purchasing my first 35mm slr a mighty zenit ttl a few years ago i inherited a nikon d3100 once i had learned how to use it and edit pictures on the pc not computer literate i was hooked now i have the d5300 and love it and hope my images
