larkin family skip to main skip to sidebar wednesday september 12 2012 summer wrap up today i was going through some of my pictures from this summer and all of the memories from the past few months came back to me we did a lot of traveling and most of it was to the beach my kids especially connor love the beach and swimming we created a lot of fond memories at the beach this summer so in honor of the seasons changing and summer coming to a close i am posting some of my favorite pictures from the beach this summer to wrap up this season and get ready for the next and my favorite season fall enjoy oh and most of these pictures were taken by my wonderful and talented mother thank you connor loves digging in the sand sierra spent a lot of time in the beach wagon connor with the junior guards in the background sierra playing in the sand taking the ferry to catalina island sophie caught a crab connor holding the crab yikes connor and his bestie weston catching sand crabs my beautiful baby in the sunset what a fun summer at 4 21 pm 2 comments wednesday february 1 2012 girls trip to san francisco a few weeks ago i went to san francisco with my mom and sisters we wanted to go on this trip with just the girls before my sister gets married next week so i kissed my husband and babies goodbye and headed off for northern california it was amazing and i loved every minute of it the city was unbelievable there is so much to do and see we ate until we couldn t eat anymore we were tourists the whole weekend but best of all we bonded as as sisters and mother here are a few highlights of our trip the city tour we didn t want to miss anything san fran had to offer so we did the most touristy thing we could think of and jumped on this tour bus our guide was hilarious and we got to see the whole city larkin street my mom was behind the camera most of the time so i am glad we got a few shots of her isn t she beautiful the golden gate bridge we also took the alcatraz tour probably the most interesting thing i have done in a while the famous cell house of course we rode the cable cars ghiradelli square best chocolate ever on sunday we took a drive through napa and visited wine country it was gorgeous fisherman s wharf and pier 39 the famous painted ladies these houses are featured in a ton of movies all in all it was an amazing trip i also need to thank my cousin bailey and my wonderful husband for taking the time to watch my kiddos while i went on this trip i couldn t have done this without them at 4 08 pm 1 comment wednesday january 25 2012 blog overhaul wow it s been six months since i last attempted a blog post sierra will be six months in 2 weeks so i am blaming her a lot has happened over the past few months and i decided to post a few pictures and phrases about a few of the highlights enjoy our miracle baby girl sierra jaehn larkin was born on august 10 2011 we took sierra to the cabin for the first time when she was just 3 weeks old connor had his first big kid birthday party complete with a jump house and lots of friends we took our annual hutchison and steffen trip to disneyland we celebrated thanksgiving in brian head we had an amazing christmas and took a trip to slc to see the lights on temple square thanks to wonderful grandparents eric and whitney took a trip to hawaii without kids with the smith family we visited kona ranch and spent most of our time on the beach those were a few of the highlights from the past six months hopefully i will be a better blogger and not have to do a blog overhaul every few months i just got back
