and was instantly obsessed i followed her link to mdollasnails and just about died which meant that when i found the stamping plate their designs came from i purchased it just to remake this manicure and i am pleased it helps that it is super easy to make rainbow nails using stamping polish like wow so much faster than with regular polish i am in awe i would never have though to make the more boring background the advanced stamp the base of these nails is the rainbow the gold neutral glitter was applied to the stamper after the stamp it made cleaning a pain but it was obviously worth it i actually painted these over a year ago and have made multiple variations since because i love it so much i am also curious i made the final version matte because fuzzy sweater and also because the inspiration was matte but i did take photos while it was still glossy and i am not sure which i like better colors pink pueen sweet pink orange cjs 022 clementine yellow pueen bright yellow blue pueen tone stamping works really well for seater nails and i didn t add too many snowflakes for once or dots the colors are more subtle than my usual but i like it it also fits very well with how absolutely frigid it currently is here with nearly a foot of snow and 2 degree weather overnight the base here is is one of the polishes i bought in australia over a year ago whoops it is a nice grey leaning light purple i have a few similar colors in my collection but unsurprisingly most of them have glitter and this is a cream i like it it went on well in three thin coats i think i got a away with two thicker coats on some nails and lasted nicely the brand is db and the polish is called 308 i m lav in it i stamped over i m lav in it with darker purple grey stamping polish i don t own a true purple stamping polish but i do have a purple grey tropical dusk by pueen using moyra plate 99 fabric texture 2 the final snowflake stamps were done using nicole diary 120 and pueen pure white i will try to design but i like it i started with two thin coats of a dark burgundy polish and covered it with a black to red multichrome i think that i wanted a red base rather than a black base so that the black snowflakes that i stamped over the top would stand out more even if this diminished the overall effect of the multichrome since they pop more over black than any other color i then matted the design and added a few dots in black polish for contrasting finish and honestly because i just cannot stop myself from adding dots if i think there is a large spot of uninterrupted nail base colors dark red reasons my mother in law typically does not wear colors other than red and black with rare forays into blue or green most of her clothing is very elegant and i don t know that she owns anything else force myself to a posting schedule for the time being as work along is taking up far too many hours of my day for me to make any promises but i am going to try and be better about posting nail art i have continued to paint my nails some good some bad and i have a whole lot of winter nails from 2025 that i still need to post so here are some super simple snowflake nails on a lovely delicate base i thought that snow would look great over this subtle but vibrant polish and i was right i am also so glad i got this polish it is beautiful this is three thin coats of latte cloud by ethereal ethereal has mastered the art of well ethereal polishes they are delicate jelly like and swimming with shimmer this polish looks subtle from indirect angles just a pale purple grey and then the bright blue shimmer hits you the face it is awesome it has returned either twice or three times as a favorite in the polish pickup annual throwback month and i think it is well deserved the stamp is as always from nicole diary plate 120 because at this point that is my primary source of snowflakes which do not melt assuming i do in fact manage to keep posting my backlog of nail art you will be seeing more
