previously i served as the graphics research lead at the technology development group of apple a principal r d engineer with autodesk s cloud rendering service team and a postdoctoral researcher at the program of computer graphics of cornell university in 1997 i was enrolled in zhejiang university after earning my bachelor s degrees i started my research journey by pursuing my m s degree at the state key lab of cad cg of zhejiang university during this time i had the privilege of working under the guidance of prof qunsheng peng and prof wei chen exploring fascinating problems in graphics research in september 2005 i embarked on my ph d journey at the computer graphics group of the max planck institut für informatik in saarbrücken germany under the supervision of prof dr hans peter seidel my ph d research focused on gpu based real time rendering where i had the opportunity to collaborate closely with prof jan kautz throughout my academic journey i also visited the internet graphics group at msra working with prof xinguo liu and computer graphics group at msr under the mentorship of dr john snyder these experiences alongside the invaluable mentorship of my advisors have
