least i m getting them posted oakley started 5th grade lots and lots of homework garrett has just started 4th grade with the same teacher he had in 3rd grade we love mr frei kyller is in 1st grade and is very excited about reading right now we are getting as many ar tests done as possible while he is still excited about it charity started pre school about a week after the rest of the kids started school she is enjoying it very much and so am i a few minutes to get some stuff done posted by jennifer at 10 23 pm 1 comments friday february 19 2010 boarding madness for christmas santa gave garrett everything necessary to go snowboarding ever since then he wants to go every chance he gets today payton garrett shane lance cassidy ventured up to brianhead for a day of snowboarding cassidy on skis posted by jennifer at 12 28 pm 4 comments saturday february 13 2010 daddy say yes i did change my blog before valentine s day sounds like deja vu i think that is what i wrote last year and i only updated then because everyone wanted an update on how i was doing charity aka daddy s princess has been begging to get her ears pierced for 6 months now daddy kept saying no though this weekend we ventured to arizona to visit family and while gone got daddy s permission charity was so excited daddy say yes she was quite the trooper they didn t have two people on shift so she had to wait until a girl came back from her lunch break she wasn t very happy so we took her to get some food and then headed back this is the most upset she got she was so good she just kept admiring herself in the handheld mirror then this morning when she woke up she asked to see her earrings then she stood in front of the mirror swaying her head back in forth thanks daddy posted by jennifer at 10 15 am 2 comments thursday october 29 2009 finally a post i finally have taken the time to figure out how to get the valentine s paper off of my blog and get the halloween on there i hope that it is not valentine s day before i change it again i am really going to try to do better with my blog i spent the time figuring out how to change everything tonight so that hopefully tomorrow after the halloween carnival at the school i can just pop a few photos on instead of feeling like i have to sit down for an all night project like tonight was the kids and i have been busily working on different things around the house trying to get everything done before payton s short trip home we are hoping to surprise him by having a lot of the little things that never seem to get done like touch up paint accomplished charity is sure missing her dad she has made up a verse to the wheels on the bus about charity s daddy on the bus it is really cute when she sings it payton got a kick out of it when she sang it to him over the phone kyller garrett oakley are busy with school homework and their extra curricular activities oakley is involved with the 4th 5th grade choir as well as piano lessons garrett kyller are getting ready to start soccer i am just trying not to pull my hair out as we run from one direction to the other thank goodness for family and friends that are willing to help out wherever and however necessary posted by jennifer at 1 56 am 3 comments saturday february 28 2009 no real news yet on tuesday february 17th i spoke with my doctor and found out that indeed do have hyperthyroidism i am now on medication that is helping with some of the symptoms i no longer shake most of the time on tuesday march 10th i will be meeting with an endocrinologist that comes to st george twice a month for a couple days at a time he is so busy when he comes that my appointment is actually at 6 30am ut time 5 30am my time i am very anxious to find out all that has to be done before i can get the treatment done and start my way back to normal i know from the nurse that i have to have 2 shots i don t know if at the same time or if there is a time period between them and go on a diet for i don t know how long so at this point i will not know a lot of things until the 10th i am counting down the days to get some of my questions answered i will post more after my appointment posted by jennifer at 10 38 pm 0 comments friday february 13 2009 what next hyperthyroidism it seems that there always has to be something going on in my family first ty then mary now me i spent the morning in the doctor s office thanks to my bosses i have been struggling to go on my own even though i have had several people tell me that they thought that i should go get checked out after talking to the doctor and having a physical it is his opinion that i have something called hyperthyroidism i have had my blood drawn and i have a thyroid scan scheduled for tomorrow on monday we should have the answers i have another doctor appointment on friday the 20th to determine our next course of action the doctor thinks that i should be able to have a radioactive iodine shot and then control it daily with pills although i was relieved to hear the he thinks that this is all it is he also let me know that i should have been in for treatment months ago and that i really did gamble with my life so let this be a lesson to anyone that thinks that something is wrong with them don t wait finding out what it is is the best way to go at least you can formulate a plan of attack payton payton is in texas working on a golf course so hopefully i will get better at posting if only so that he can see what is going on at home kids a quick note about the kids oakley 9 enjoying piano likes to help her mom sometimes raising pigs for the fair garrett 8 trying to be the man of the house while dad is gone playing basketball math whiz kyller 4 can t wait until kindergarten loves little sister and can t wait to play with jace everyday charity 1 mommy s little girl looking for dad everyday talking more and more pictures i am posting pictures of our house the finished product since i haven t gotten that done yet and we have been living her 5 months posted by jennifer at 3 44 pm 2 comments tuesday october 28 2008 a post it s about time i can t believe it has already been three months since my last post we have been really busy in our household i will try to do better a list of things our family has been up to the last three months 1 finish painting the house 2 pack the old house 3 new school year starting 4 stain doors 5 move 6 work 7 payton working out of town 8 trying to get everything put away and still keep the house in decent shape and my never ending project getting the garage cleaned out so we can park in it payton has been working on a golf course in provo lance joined him this week and we hope to see them home this weekend oakley just started piano today so far she loves it we will see in a couple of weeks when she gets tired of practicing everyday i think that is all i have for today i will try and post again in a few days for those of you who know about my nephew he is doing better still struggling a little bit with the chemo but we pray that he will be well enough to travel out here for thanksgiving we are trying not to get our hopes up
