upcoming term of leadership positions within the asian regional section of the international association for statistical computing iasc ars we are currently seeking nominations for the following positions thirteen 13 board of directors bod members for the term 2025 2029 one 1 scientific secretary for the term 2025 2027 about iasc ars the asian regional section ars of the international association for statistical computing iasc aims to promote research education and cooperation in the field of statistical computing and data science within the asia pacific region as a regional section of the iasc an official section of the isi iasc ars plays a critical role in advancing statistical computing through international conferences collaborative programs and networking opportunities more information https iascars org board of directors bod responsibilities members of the board of directors are responsible for shaping and guiding the strategic direction of iasc ars supporting and overseeing regional activities workshops and conferences promoting collaboration in statistical computing across academia industry and government sectors contributing to the development of the next generation of statistical computing professionals in the region bod members are expected to attend regular meetings participate in decision making processes and actively engage in the
