jacobson fam skip to main skip to sidebar jacobson fam time never stands still monday march 7 2011 lehi rodeo we had a fun saturday at the lehi rodeo yummy food and fun times hanging w our cousins we all laughed so hard as the kids chased goats w dollar bills taped on them next it was chasing down greased pigs which my nephew threw himself on one and got 20 bucks to finish the day off was chasing chickens hunter was in his element and sierrah found herself wanting some cowgirl boots richard had a blast chasing around the animals it was a fun day something my kids had never really experienced there was barrel races and other fun activities i loved this pic of our handsome cowboys watching the show on the fence us adults were across the arena in bleachers tate brig richard zane hunter the recent happenings it s been too long since i have posted just thought i would post random happenings from the past couple of months thanksgiving we had a jacobson reunion and had all rich s family here and all 20 grandkids we had a great few days together wish they could come every year for thanksgiving here is everyone at our annual turkey bowl sierrah had to take a picture for pe with a 9 person pyramid we ran over and asked our nice neighbor to take it for us christmas mornin so far no one has gotten injured w these l8tr sk8tr these pics i put on our christmas cards we hope you had a joyful christmas hunter sitting by the botanical trail at silly mtn he was too tired to walk through it christmas day we enjoyed a nice hike on silly mountain just dancin we have all enjoyed that game still haven t got dad on it the boys made a tennis ball cannon like their cousin s it is loud and shoots a tennis ball out like a bullet we also made it through a season of fall baseball w richard cousins in arizona city we always have a blast when we go they have lots of toys and are so good to show us a fun afternoon we had a nice pic nic in a shady sandy wash area we blasted through the desert and were dirty from head to toe j crew gettin ready to hit the desert me and my man j five sierrah giving instructions to aunt erica chillin in deb s two seater can t remember the name of it 11 pm 1 comments wednesday october 27 2010 random happenings j crew playin with sparklers in the backyard this is the night sierrah cinged her hair off we had a mini campout in the backyard dad and hunter were the only ones to sleep in the tent we had a fire and roasted marshmellows dad working on our neverending car troubles lately richard is always ready to help and observe hunter on the other hand he has no interest you can see what he is thinking about yep that is a fishing pole richard practicing his viola which he needs to do more i am glad he is enjoying it my good lookin dove hunters richard shot a few for the first time this year richard also enjoyed the dove nuggets the most i love that my hunter was wearing a knife and a strawberry tree air freshner on his hip along with his fishing vest this is the door in our fam room that goes into the backyard our sharp shooter hunter did this he was outside w the bb gun while dad and richard were inside getting the guns for an afternoon of hunting hunter was outside and said he wanted to see if the bb would go through the screen door whelp it does our handy dad put spray adhesive on the outside of the door it has been about a month and the glue is still holding we need to just get it replaced last but not least our record breaking qt straw train they stretched across the whole backyard this kept the kids busy for a bit we really need to cut back since they no longer serve rootbeer at the fountain richard is done posted by heather at 4 27 pm 1 comments sunday october 24 2010 my hunter is seven hunter s birthday fell during fall break so he was out of school for a whole week g g jacobson were here and got to spend the evening with us we did his favorite thing fish here s the whole crew the older kids and some of the young ones did some ice blocking we didn t have enough towels so some of the boys used their shirts to cover the blocks of ice richard sierrah hayden and tate s leg this was the first catch of the evening everyone fishing brig sara hyrum hunter the boys trying to catch baby fish with their bare hands no luck the trophy fish a big catfish hunter loved reeling that one in gave him a good fight hunter has been going strong for a year now with fishing he asks to go every weekend he didn t waste any time iceblocking just fished the whole evening hunter you are the cutest fisherman i know guess went to get his towel i come back a few minutes later to find him like this nice taking a bath and eating dinner snickers is patiently waiting for huntie to toss him a bite i did grab one piece and put it away until he got out more hunter news frogs 25 cents any takers see that little green frog in hunters hand he has proudly raised them from a tadpole to a frog w four legs it has made him so happy he is ready to sell them now these are the many little hoppers whenever there is a rain around here the park floods up and the frogs and tadpoles come out he is over there when the rain clears august 14 2010 ready or not here we come goodbye summer i think everyone was ready to go back to school hunter was not excited until the night before he was jumping around and so excited i was glad he was glad got the first three days under our belts i couldn t wait to hear how the first day was hunter s fav part of his first day of 1st grade was playing with friends coloring his nice teacher he said he got the teacher he wanted richards fav of 5th grade was everything he loves his teacher too is excited to play the viola sierrah s fav part of 8th grade was getting to see her friends again
