thrilled to announce my show marmot art space in spokane on november 3rd 2023 the show is a culmination of work developed over the last year the work feels expansive and grounded as i have been investigating the interplay between the atmospheric and architectural weathers of butte and anaconda marmot art space is noted for featuring distinguished artists from across the northwest and i am grateful for the opportunity to showcase my work here an album of yellow days i ll be showing a selection of butte inspired works from the past 10 years at the cq gallery of hennebery eddy architects in bozeman entitled an album of yellow days art walk in bozeman is july 14 2023 from 6 to 8 this work spans time but also media paintings on wood panels linocut hand finished prints and oilbar drawings they share pinks and roof angles and spaces for wandering there are patterns when you step back from a decade shop live i created a squarespace shop for the work for my current exhibition august 2022 incredibly excited to spend a week at the jacob s house in butte montana the house was built in 1878 and is one of butte s oldest buildings it was recently rennovated and transformed into an artist and writer residency i m grateful for this time and space to create new work thanks to the root and the bloom collective for making this possible radius gallery holiday show 2021 excited my work was selected for the radius gallery s holiday show in missoula montana it s a terrific affordable fine art exhibit featuring over 150 artists the show opens at 11am on nov 5th and they encourage is a van of artwork that travels the huge state of montana along the way they stop at schools state parks senior citizens centers and other organizations the teacher unpacks the exhibit and gives a presentation about the work with a state as big as montana it s an innovative way to bring art to some of the more isolated pockets of the state i feel very fortunate they found me and came to my door to pick up a work that will travel the state i am honored to be amongst such a diverse and active roster of montana artists pithead chapel pithead chapel is a small independent and volunteer run literary journal and small press founded in michigan s upper peninsula they featured my artwork on the cover of the august issue to the silver hurt of home clark chateau i had a show at the clark chateau in butte montana in july and august of 2015 the work i created for the show felt very true to butte as a place i really enjoyed the people i met through the exhibition and having a show is
