march 16th at 5 56 a m she was a big baby weighing 8 lbs 5 oz which is a pound heavier than kade was and was 20 inches long she came on her own a week early which was great because i was so done being pregnant and not looking forward to another week of pregnancy she is such a sweet girl and we love her so much already kade has been so cute with her and i think he will be a great big brother she has jaundice like her brother did and has had to be under the bilibed for the last week it is not fun to put her in it and she hates it kade only had to be under the lights for a day so this has been really hard we got lily s pictures taken in the hospital and love them so here they are also i know it has been a long time since i last posted so just a quick update kade turned 2 on the 5th and we had a big monkey party he had a blast he is getting so big and smarter everyday my cousin heather took some pics of him for me last time we were in st george so i thought i would post those as well thanks heather you are awesome kade is 2 posted by the brogdon s at 6 35 pm 5 comments friday november 4 2011 ultrasound so i am now 20 weeks time is going so quickly this pregnancy we went in the other day for my ultrasound and we found out we are having a girl yay we are so excited i can t believe i am already half way there i think kade is going to be such a good big brother i am getting really anxious to start decorating the nursery and getting it ready it will be so fun to get it all girly and cute i can t believe how lucky we are we are so blessed posted by the brogdon s at 10 39 am 3 comments halloween halloween was so fun this year with kade he was a monkey again like last year and the costume actually fit him better this year we took him to kyle s work to go trick or treating and he was really shy he would just cuddle into us but when we asked him if he wanted candy he would nod his head yes and lean over and pick out a candy and put it in his bucket than cuddle back into us it was stinkin cute we also took him to about 4 different houses on halloween night and he would just stand there on the porch and stare at the people get his candy and not move than when we would walk away he would drag his bag behind him it was so fun than we brought him home and kyle and i took turns going into different rooms with candy and having kade knock on the door and we would open it and give him a piece of candy he had a blast we carved pumpkins at my parents mine is the skull posted by the brogdon s at 10 25 am 1 comment saturday september 24 2011 what s new kade is now 18 months old and started going to nursery about 3 weeks ago it is so crazy that my baby is growing up so fast and he is a little boy now he is so much fun and learns new things everyday he already says quite a few words some of which are mommy daddy bottle ball fish turtle done i got it and more he loves to dance to music and bang his head he gets so into it it is so funny to watch about a month ago i started watching a 3 month old baby girl a 6 month old baby boy and of course kade every day i know i m pretty sure i am crazy but it has been not too bad kade does get really jealous and upset sometimes though when i am holding one of the other babies so he will try and come cuddle with me and push them away he is so used to having all of the attention that i think it has been kinda hard on him on top of that for those of you who don t know we are having another baby yay i am 14 weeks along now i had been soooo sick though so it has been really hard to function and be positive i am finally starting to feel alot better which i am so grateful for but it still kinda depends on the day but i will take that over being super sick every day we are really excited though and i think kade will be a great big brother i am due march 22 so kade and the baby will be almost exactly 2 years apart we celebrated our 5 year anniversary a couple of weeks ago i cannot believe we have already been married 5 years time flies and it is kinda freaky i love kyle so much though and am so lucky to have such an amazing man to have a family with and be with forever here are some wednesday july 20 2011 update ok so i know it has been forever and i have been terrible about updating my blog there has been so much going on since i last updated that i don t really know where to start but here goes kade is growing up so fast he is such a wild boy and loves to explore everything he was always getting into the cupboards and drawers in the kitchen and taking everything out so we finally put child locks on everything than he discovers he can move the chairs and climb on the kitchen table and run around so now we have to keep the chairs on top of the table we always slide the couch in front of the hallway when we are trying to keep him in the living room and he recently figured out how to climb on the back of the couch and slowly lift himself down to the other side i don t know what to do about that one and he has now discovered the floor vents so he is always taking them out and playing with those i just don t get it he has all these toys and he wants to play with everything he shouldn t be his favorite toys right now are balls he is always pointing saying ball and running and getting it and throwing it down the stairs and saying uh oh or he is kicking one around the house it is so freakin cute his other favorite thing right now is his stuffed turtle kyle and i will always say where s your turtle and he will run and get it and bring it to you or hug it real tight he loves that thing kade is seriously the happiest boy ever and i love it he is always smiling or laughing and he always makes my day kade is now 16 months he has been going to nursery for a couple of months already because kyle is in the nursery and kade loves it kade and mommy kade in bath with cotton balls to protect his ears from water kades 1st birthday kades second ear surgery i took kade to a place called gymboree for a free trial to see how he liked it it was kinda cool easter playing in the drawer just got haircut kade loves his turtle this kid is not afraid of anything herriman splash pad daddy s motorcycle helmet all the cousins on the visser side aiden ella rae lydia kade and kenna kyle got a motorcyle a couple of months ago for a great deal from a guy he knows and he has been loving it we had talked about getting one since we were married and he finally got one it does freak me out a little because of stories i have heard but i was pretty excited myself he rides it to work everyday and loves it we also sold my little car i had my car since before we were married it was kinda sad cuz there is lots of memories but i was kinda glad to see it go i ran a half marathon a couple of months ago it is kinda a crazy story one of my counselors in yw was going to run it and was all registered and than found out she was pregnant so i was like i will run it so me and my other counselor ran it together i had absolutely no training i just wanted to do it to say i did it and i didn t think i would care about my time or anything like that well i got there and my competitive side came out and i ran the entire time and did it in 2 hours and 10 min i was so proud of myself it was an awesome feeling but i will never do something like that again with no training i definitely paid for it i got soooooo sick but it is really cool to look back and say i did that i am so proud of myself we are just keeping busy with kade and work and work and callings and another baby due in march kyle is a computer programmer and currently works for a company as their development manager i am a stay at home mom and i watch a couple kids as well i am currently the yw
