kate taylor swift she wouldn t sing after she caught me videoing her kate faces happy naughty etc lots and lots of giggles tangled song she didn t sing the last half but i m not that tech savvy so you get the whole video we love you millions and miss you like crazy can t wait to see you in three weeks happy birthday posted by tim m liss at 8 43 pm no comments monday january 14 2013 sunbeam on saturday night i tried to prep kate for her first day as a sunbeam i told her tomorrow you get to go to the big primary the whole time the soon to be sunbeams went for singing time only all of december and be a sunbeam then kate said excitedly yep and you don t get to come momma that surprised me and i thought the transition might go a little easier then i had anticipated i wanted to get a photo of her on her first day of sunbeams for tim since he couldn t be there with us and well her face says it all she was not too happy i sat with her for the opening prayer scripture song and talk and then told her i needed to go blow my nose as i said that she seemed fine but then when i started walking out she tried to follow me and her teacher snatched her up she was crying and reaching for me and it was the saddest thing especially with tim s departure still fresh in our minds i felt like she probably thought we d both abandoned her i work in the nursery so i sent the other nursery leader to go peek in the primary room for me to make sure she was okay she said she was sitting on her teacher s lap and was not crying at all whew i didn t have to feel like the worst momma in the world by the time i picked her up this is what she looked like she got an oreo from her teacher if you couldn t tell my grandparents work in the library so i took a few pictures of kate in there after church because she was being so silly sunday morning when kate woke up she looked so much older to me for some reason maybe i was just mentally prepping myself for the next step in kate s life or something whatever it was my baby is growing up jesus wants me for a sunbeam to shine for him each day in ev ry way try to please him at home at school at play a sunbeam a sunbeam jesus wants me for a like this posted by tim m liss at 7 27 pm no comments thursday january 10 2013 missing daddy day 4 this morning kate woke up and said i got to see daddy last night i just assumed she was talking about when we saw him on the computer screen when we did skype last night but then she said he played with me and we played in the snow she must have had a dream about him it was really sweet and a tender mercy i m glad she can still play with him and that she thinks it s real i asked if he held her and she said yes i asked if he gave her kisses and she said not yet today emi reese mand came to play it was wonderful kate woke up early and was beyond crabby and mommy was ready for a break with this yucky weather and our yucky colds we are sort of trapped inside and quarantined from the cousins that live close luckily emi reese both have colds so they could come over and their daddy was getting lasik surgery today so grandma had to babysit it was so nice for kate to have emi to play with and so nice for me to get to talk to mand while they played until she had to leave to drive koby to from his surgery the only bad thing was that kate is still sick and all the running and spinning and dancing made her cough a bunch but if you look at these pictures you ll see it was worth it the swan princesses doesn t it look like they re winding up for their pirouettes in the photo on the right dancing is hard work had to take a little break reese was there too starting position classic kate moves right there on the right is she still following me a little snack break and kate s signature
