l j bills l j bills monday january 24 2011 welcome january 2011 caroline took our pictures in october she is amazing katie and baby bizzy come back again soon starting to work on utilizing the potty like a big girl visiting nat matt and the crew in vegas halloween party with the amigos dani tiff and chels throw an amazing partay halloween at the zoo grandma milly miss ickes friends christmas party at ash and mark s casa halle learned to swim in vegas shopping at trolley square with grammy ry s football game whew time is flying i can t seem to get a grasp on how fast things change it honestly seems like yesterday levi and i were dating and now here we are married with halle bug and a sweet new bundle of joy coming june 23rd 2011 really it is so different to plan a pregnancy last time i did not believe it was real until i was about 6 months in this time i hoped everyday i was pregnant and literally new the moment i got pregnant okay gross but really before 4 weeks when the pregnancy test had a i was euphoric it is funny that we choose to put ourselves through what seems like torture poor levi is a trooper pretty sure i am the grumpiest most impatient starving lazy pregnant person in the world i married a good guy i think halle is excited about it even though as of lately when i ask her if i have a baby brother or baby sister in my tummy she tells me no baby i don t think she quite understands she tells me that she has a baby in her tummy and that levi has one in his tummy as well she does however kiss my huge belly oh which reminds me who knew this go around would make me be huge so much faster as i got out my fat skirts dresses a few weeks ago i for sure thought they would be nice and baggy nope i may need to make some investments in some maternity gear soon here it is january which is my most unfavorite time of year but we re almost through it and i could not be happier bring on spring please ha only a few more months of this freezing weather we have not gone too stir crazy this winter thanks to halle making suggestions as to what we should do each day whether it be go shopping go see friends go have fun see sharks the aquarium go museum gateway or go grammy s house halle continues to get smarter by the day using almost complete sentences at times probably the funniest thing i have heard her say in awhile was a few weeks ago when we were all driving in the car and she said jesus temple jesus go sleepy halle snuggle with jesus and she nods her head and repeats it a few times i laughed and levi told halle i bet jesus would love to snuggle with you halle she is a funny little girl that thinks she runs the show probably because we let her run the show i keep trying to resort back the love and logic book to strategize against this little monster but some how she still gets away with almost everything we had so much fun during halloween this year thanksgiving was also nice and helped us reflect on how blessed we really are as for christmas we were all spoiled and i was sad that i literally did not take any pictures but halle did have a fabulous time tearing through presents and continues to entertain herself for hours with all her new toys books kitchen and hiding house work for me has been good and yet i find myself lately feeling more sensitive and emotional regarding many of the sweet patients i see whether they are the cute old grandpa that broke a hip or the crazy old grandma with severe dementia or even the young people withdrawing from alcohol or drugs but mostly those middle aged newly diagnosed cancer patients i find myself feeling so sad for them but on the flip side so grateful for being so blessed some of those patients really do have the best perspective on life that i hope i would be able to have if i were in their circumstances there are so many strong courageous wonderful people out there i thought back on cute miss ickes and my darling old grandma that have now both been gone for about 3 years what wonderful examples they were are to me this year i hope to be a little more grateful and a lot less whiny because really you never know when your life can suddenly change here s to having a good attitude through this winter freezeout and becoming as big as a whale posted by l j bills at 2 04 pm 3 comments tuesday september 21 2010 well is it obvious that i am amazing at downloading pictures and putting them in some type of order someone please give me a little tutorial on how to work this blogging thing anyways i cannot believe it is september crazy a year ago right now we were on the beach this summer has been full of fun halle is pleased to have some new friends around she went with cute addie to the fairy princess party tatie and baby bizzy are so fun to have gone swimming with and as of a few days ago we have a sweet new niece olivia june cannon whom we cannot wait to meet baby paige is another new cousin whom halle loves to visit baby paige was voted the cutest lady bug at halle s birthday party oh and yah for a new little guy who will be welcomed to the world hopefully in the next few weeks we enjoyed celebrating our freedom with a little visit to the fair and celebrating the life of uncle alan up on the mountain for july 4th the zoo has become one of our favorite places we will be so sad when it gets too cold cute halle turned two on august 29th to say she was spoiled would be an understatement she had most of her favorite people there and was sad for those who couldn t be there thanks to cute keri for letting me steal her darling bug idea halle had a fantastic 2 year checkup passing with flying colors the doctor said she is the opposite of failure to thrive our little giant topped the charts at 37 25 inches and weighing in at 30 lbs our most utilized reference these days is turning out to be a little book called love and logic we certainly have our work cut out for us our halle bug has an agenda of her own
