or am i imagining things now that rating thingey which i wrote about in the previous post has miraculously disappeared on its own is someone playing a prank on me posted by stay at home mum at 06 58 9 comments thursday may 8 2008 eh how come i know my previous post was supposed to be my last but just had to post this was logged out of blogger for a couple of days there was no way i could get logged onto it even though i had no problem getting on the net then suddenly hey presto i had no trouble getting in yesterday not sure if someone had hacked into my account and then this morning i noticed that after my comments there is this rating thingey for my posts how did it get there who put it there i dont know i thought maybe blogspot put it there but when i checked other blogs that are on blogspot they dont have it not even ecl checked my settings and layout and there is nothing there so where did it come from i am a real dummy when it comes to even posting on blogger i still cant do a strike through or change the font colour of my posts despite other bloggers telling me to go to edit html so i couldnt have possibly done it not even in my sleep so where did that come from any ideas my day there are many others whom i have met while blogging that truly deserves this award they are yan from whom i have learnt a thing or two or maybe even ten just by reading her posts she has shown me how the lord has touched her life and also how a true professional writes bp for sharing with me the beautiful life she is experiencing with her children in a foreign land just by reading her posts i feel that i can truly connect with her and as if we have been pals for years iml for her patience that seems to flow through to me from her blog i wish i was more like her able to handle my kids with no help eastcoastlife for her no holds barred sometimes hilariously funny and educational posts ecl was one of the first to teach me a thing or two about blogging when i first started she is what i would call my sifu of blogging tigerfish for sharing with us all her wonderful food posts and innovative recipes i call her my nigella of blogspot mott for being her true self even when blogging no pretences no niceties just for the sake of it for telling it like it is sometimes i wish i had the guts to post like her and of course the award goes to 2 blogs which have since closed that of judy grandmother stories and kopi soh aka firehorse whose posts i really enjoyed reading and for their care and concern for others through their actions they have really shown god s love to others in this blogging world why am i giving so many awards because nothing could be better way than sharing the award with those so deserving of it and especialy after receiving it myself it may come as a surprise to many of you but this is my last post why end just impulsive maybe many things have happened many criticisms many questions and i feel that it is best that i stop to those who have asked why the need to blog and make it public yes maybe you are right maybe all these should be kept private in a diary just for my own eyes to those who have read more than what i had written in my posts my apologies maybe it was a wrong choice of words no offence was meant no hard feelings and to everyone else if you were offended in any way by what i wrote i apologise nothing was meant to hurt or poke at anyone it was just my inability to choose a better word to write it in a nicer way everything written was done my way and to share with you one of my favourite songs by frank sinatra my way and now the end is near and so i face the final curtain my friend i ll say it clear i ll state my case of which i m certain i ve lived a life that s full i ve traveled each and ev ry highway but more much more than this i did it my way regrets i ve had a few but then again too few to mention i did what i had to do and saw it through without exemption i planned each charted course each careful step along the byway but more much more than this i did it my way yes there were times i m sure you knew when i bit off more than i could chew but through it all when there was doubt i ate it up and spit it out i faced it all and i stood tall and did it my way i ve loved i ve laughed and cried i ve had my fill my share of losing and now as tears subside i find it all so amusing to think i did all that and may i say not in a shy way no oh no not me i did it my way for what is a man what has he got if not himself then he has naught to say the things he truly feels and not the words of one who kneels the record shows i took the blows and did it my way his song pretty much sums up what i am feeling after one and a half years here i am saying good bye sad to leave but will not be gone forever i will adjective defined by the dictionary as a proceeding from natural feeling or impulse without external stimulus b without forethought c determined by chance or impulse or whim rather than by necessity or reason d characterized by undue haste and lack of thought or deliberation have always thought that i was quite an impulsive person that would act at the drop of a hat or shoot off my mouth without first considering the reaction that would result have gotten into trouble from hubby ocassionally for doing things all with good intentions no doubt without even considering what would happen after that deal with it later just had to get it off my chest or attend to it at that moment i guess hubby on the other hand is definitely not an impulsive person he is one that would think through everything before he says or do anything just like a typical civil servant so when i came upon this quiz i decided to take it to actually find out how impulsive i am was quite surprised that i am actually not that impulsive after all maybe it was just a few occasions and a mountain was made of that molehill so it sticks in my memory like the quiz says maybe its just my spontaneous side reacting quite a relief with the results actually you are 35 impulsive you re a pretty stable and serious person you don t take things lightly this doesn t mean you can t have fun you just have fun
