questions for you i hope it s alright 1 i checked the faq and i know you said it was ok to make art of your characters but i have a more specific q would it be okay to make a wooden sculpture study of your pigeon griffin it would be for personal use only i would never sell it and if i post it to socmed assuming you re ok with it i would credit you 2 how do you take the photos of your sculptures i d assume a photo light box for your smaller works though correct me if i m wrong but you have some larger pieces and i m curious as to how you get such nice and even lighting 3 no pressure to answer but i m curious about how you managed to get a relationship with a local gallery did you reach out to them or did they find you via your school an art show etc 4 would you be willing to talk about how you decide on pricing work off anon or point me towards any resources i m also located in the toronto gta area and honestly it s so hard to price craft hand made things going on etsy is no help either as own a collapsible transportable lightbox at 25x30 63x70cm unfortunately the only larger and affordable type i could find without blowing my budget and settled on was via harmazon basics thankfully it fits lots of work in it i have had some days where it just wasn t cutting it for size and or glare i couldn t diffuse for example with a sheet of thick cardstock and sometimes a volunteer to hold it etc so taking a white backdrop outside on a slightly overcast day to avoid heavy shadows and glare helps a lot some plug in lamps on extension cords have been added to that setup too before but hey it works as for galleries the first one i was associated with visited my high school art program s year end show i was part of and next time i visited them they asked if i wanted to sell and exhibit there keeping my eye on open exhibition calls and turning up to local events and following social media pages of other places and artists who do a lot of event organization really did help a lot once i got more settled in and had more events under my belt and listed on my cv i always have that up on my website if people doing invitational events wanted a background i started expanding out of my city and canada so definitely make connections and keep tabs even vending gigs have helped expand my possibilities of exhibits after talking to people who showed up definitely feel free to drop me a
