life as a stevenson life isn t about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to dance in the rain sunday june 24 2012 parker s basketball summer camp parker still loves his basketball he did a week camp for 4 hours a day he said it was a little too long and he would have liked it if it was shorter but he really did enjoy it they did a lot of drills and techniques his main coach was great and super nice there were like 5 other coaches because there were just so many kids on the last day he was the one that got to shoot for the group to decide if they were going to have to run he made both shots the crowd went wild and so did his teammates a girl even ran up to him and picked him up i loved that he had that moment here s his winning shot what a stud posted by stevenson s at 10 38 pm no comments last cheer performance spring 2012 missy s stuck with cheer the longest of all her hobbies i can tell she s getting better just from these pictures she s doing everything everyone else is at the same time here she is receiving her award certificate and new pom color posted by stevenson s at 10 30 pm no comments summer happenings missy and cambree painting nails my nephew caden he s she was such a cutie on stage and i love seeing her so happy and loving the attention she sings and dances along with her class at spotlight entertainment i taught a jazz and hip hop class at spotlight i have been working here for about 2 years and this was the first semester i did my own class that was strictly dance i had so much fun and i realized that really is my passion the kids were all fantastic and i really couldn t believe how fast they picked up the choreography this picture is missing a few of them missy and some of her friends back stage before the show doing her thing she was so adorable always looking for us in the crowd waiting for her dad to cheer her on my dance class performing i was so proud missy with the girls in my class the whole class it was a great number summer already we have been enjoying our backyard and the trampoline and slip n slide the kids did a week of swimming lessons they know how to swim but we just wanted them to learn more of the techniques they did awesome and loved the fact they knew they were going swimming everyday even if the water was a little too cold posted by stevenson s at 9 58 pm no comments monday may 28 2012 end of year fun it s been a fast school year missy loved kindergarten and parker loved second grade he had his favorite teacher i didn t even get a photo of him and her it was crazy to have both kids in school but i didn t feel bored at all i kept myself plenty busy and was in the classroom as well as helping in pe teaching dance a lot here is a gift i gave for teacher appreciation missy on her horse for rodeo centers painting a bandana this is what i m used to seeing when parker brings home his papers he s so naturally smart missy denise and olivia at rodeo days they had a farm with lots of animals come to the school missy panning for gold milking a cow shaving end of the year gifts i love pinterest towel magazine candy and sun block missy going to her kinder graduation and lunch parker
