new friend ally wanted to pet the dinosaur kris is working out a masterpiece legos legos legos zach taking the cycle for a spin ally reaching for the gas peddle kris wanted to take a turn with the fire truck fireman zach to the rescue zach and his fellow fire fighter teach them in their youth the love of cycles that is ally is a motor cycle mama what can i say this nice little dinosaur let us take a picture with her kris decided it was time for a break ally playing with the baby dinosaur we can t keep zach out of the trees ally s built in parachute we found this fun ledge to jump from wild man posted by blw at 8 8 10 no comments 3 8 10 a face only a mother could love krissa enjoyed a nice plate of lasagna with a pudding cup for desert posted by blw at 3 8 10 no comments 24 7 10 our family vacation to oceanside ca we spent last week roaming around san diego we rented a condo in oceanside and enjoyed every minute the weather was great and the water was even better this is a picture of one of the waterfalls within the condo complex the grounds were very green and well maintained on the main level of the condo was a large pond which contained large koi fish zach and ally found a way to bypass the railing and get up close and personal with these fish this is the oceanside pier right at dusk our condo was about 75 yards from the water and the pier was just on the other side of the beach the building at the end of the pier houses a 50 s diner which we ate at for fun one evening while we waited for our table there were some fishermen pulling in various types of fish and a couple of sand sharks the san diego temple is having some work done on the outside when it rains water is leaking into the temple grandpa elder redford borrowed krissa s hat and she wasn t in the sharing mood a closer look at the koi ally had a fun time feeding the fish this is one of the walkways from our condo to the beach zach and ally found some ducks camping out by the pond a soldier s solute at the mormon battalion we had a fun visit at the mormon battalion visitors center in old town ca they have done quite a bit of work on this center it was very well done and the kids really enjoyed visiting becky and krissa looking out over old town from the tower at the mormon battalion visitors center becky and lans struck it rich during their gold digging at the visitors center ally and zach are panning for gold at the mormon battalion visitors center we celebrated ally grandma and grandpa s birthdays at la jolla beach the saturday we arrived lans and zach were heading back to the walkway to try out their long boards after our walk on the pier the girls krissa really enjoyed the beach overlooking the beach from our condo complex this was the pool hot tub area at the condo ally found the ducks swimming with the koi krissa wanted to feed the koi zach kept his uncle lans busy building sand castles this was the pyramid and sphinx sand castle mom and ally survived the lego technic ride at legoland ally and dad taking a ride on the aquazone wave racer zach and bob the builder ally and wendy a camper on display at legoland we met this nice blacksmith at legoland having fun on the boats ally likes this dog at legoland this nice lady and her kid let me take a picture with them just outside of the legoland entrance the kids with a legoland minifig this was the first sand castle uncle lans was the architect behind the creation becky didn t think i d roll down the hill like the kids becky and grandma sister redford the san diego temple there was a strawberry tree at the san diego temple the tree produced these red fruits which looked and tasted similar to strawberry s uncle lans was put to work at the mormon battalion brick yard krissa and grandma looking on as you can tell krissa enjoyed the birthday party ally and grandpa sharing a hug at the birthday party on la jolla beach happy birthday grandpa hey there uncle lans grandpa and lans decided to take
