tango s going ons skip to content tango s going ons tuesday 8 18 26 at countryview resort and campground princeton tx wow it s been a minute a lot has changed since my last post in may i put down a deposit on and ordered a 24 foot 2026 casita lm which was delivered to me on the 2nd of july it was a long wait i ve had some issues as was to be expected with a new model of anything during orientation in rice tx which was way too rushed in my opinion they forgot to tell me that i have two dump valves on the black waste tank so of course when the tank was filled i could not drain it to save my life while i had called a repairman to fix my sensors not reading any of the tanks he found that i had two dump valves well i thought the problem was now fixed and i did drain the tank or so i thought i kept playing with it adding more water and more chemical to break up any toilet paper but it was of no use it just would not drain completely so yesterday i had a repairman come to remove whatever clog was in the tank so i could finally completely drain it the poor man was out there in 104 degree heat for three and a half hours going outside to flush it then back inside to try to flush it back and forth back and forth finally it cleared what a disaster everything is good now i m such a happy camper i am now parked permanently at the countryview resort and campground i even have my own mailbox two months ago i started workcamping i take care of 6 buildings two clubhouses with laundry shower and bathrooms two with laundry shower and bathroom one laundry only and one bathroom only the first couple of weeks were rough i had to get super organized and make sure i had the tools to take care of everything now it s not so bad especially when the residents tidy up after themselves which has been happening a lot lately i normally start at 6 30 when it first gets light and am mostly finished by 9 00 or 9 30 unless something unexpected comes up i don t have to work on sundays but i don t like surprises or residents complaining so i go to each building to stock up clean the toilets and empty the trash if needed for this i pay no rent or utilities which is great and i can put away some money for a rainy day plus i enjoy cleaning and organizing which i have to thank my mom for i used to go with her when she cleaned houses many many years ago here are some updated photos i can t make any permanent changes on the camper for a year since that will void my warranty but i ve made a few little changes to make me happy this is my office setup now i used the cushion that was on the left to widen my bed the single beds in the camper are only 27 wide my bed in the sienna was 36 wide big difference i was scared that i would fall out in the middle of the night here is that cushion i wrapped the cushion in a blue towel because i had to add a piece of foam on the right side to make this fit i almost have a double bed now much better you see that little round silver thingy on the left that s my white noise maker i had to get it out because of the thumping noise that the ac makes when it cuts off i would wake up all during the night every time it thumped i finally got a full night s sleep two nights ago the sink is for storage i use the kitchen sink for whatever i need to do my bidet will be installed in a week or so it s really nice to have my own bathroom and shower again water kettle and air fryer the camper did come with a plug in stovetop but i knew i wouldn t use it so it s in a storage tote for now coffee maker and ice maker it s texas you gotta have an ice maker it s great to have a real fridge and freezer again where i don t have to go to the store every couple of days i know it doesn t look like it but there is enough food in there for eight
