the ivins gang skip to main skip to sidebar the ivins gang monday july 28 2014 aspyn session 3 swimming lessons we just finished another session of swimming lessons while it sucked to get 3 kids dressed fed and at least hair combed and me sorta ready all to the pool by 9 30 aspyn did learn a lot again so it was worth it they did a lot of learning how to do the actual swim positions and stuff and then all of these pictures is where they jumped into the deeper end and practiced their swim positions and used them to actually swim back in that swim style to the wall practicing the back stroke pushing off the wall and nearly drowning better this time putting her belly up my favorite picture i missed the next jump in that was farther out and 100 effort doing the freestyle stroke posted by the ivins gang at 11 15 pm no comments they actually grew i really didn t think we could actually pull this off and get the plants to grow but we did we have had so much fun watering and feeding these veggie bushes wnhile watching them grow i thought for sure i had killed them a few times but some how by miracles they kept growing we picked our first tomatoes today and a cucumber last week i am sure somewhere in heaven my dad is happy and smiling posted by the ivins gang at 4 41 pm no comments thursday july 24 2014 1 stinking year old good thing we are done with these little photo shoots this took 20 stinkin minutes cause he wouldn t hold still and he thought it was funny to move around these were the best i got stats as of 7 9 14 at 12 month wellness check up 48 cm 95 21 pounds 12 ounces 65 75 cm 50 just a few things i can think about mccoy right now and this time in his life 18 months clothes can fit in 12 month pants size 4 diapers throws some good fits will scream and cry and holler like it s is last dying wish if he doesn t get his own way he holds his breath too loves the vents he loves to put his face over them when the ac is going and have it blow on his face babbles all day long will yell and scream but is totally pleasant just jabbing away says momma and daddy pushes his front teeth forward when smiling on purpose to show off his huge goofy teeth coy is a climber he will climb over anything that gets in his way or anything that looks fun to climb on he sleeps like a champ has great 3 hour naps and sleeps from about 9 or 9 30pm to about 8am he loves his forward facing carseat 4 teeth in top and bottom and 4 teeth are coming in right now side top and bottom coy loves walking with push stroller thing and is so proud of himself when he does he will wander off all around the house just doing his own thing minding his own business and i ll go check on him every so often just to see if he is all good mccoy loves his sisters and his sisters love him right back coy is learning to fight back with the girls it ticks me off they are teaching him to be naughty cause they will tease him relentlessly sometimes esp chez when tyler lays on the floor mccoy is hauling over there to get him to wrestle he is squealing the whole way with delight his favorite chew toy is the boot jack sick loves to be outside loves the 4 wheeler and is totally content to just sit and watch the world go by still loves cuddle with us especially me and most often sit on our lap for waaaay longer than either girls did ever he love to pull off the remotes and my little summer decorations by tyler s blue chair i let him do it but i am going to have to break him of that with the other seasonal decorations i will put up later he doesn t touch the other decorations in the entertainment center just the end table by tyler s chair he still hates big people food will gag and choke and carry on that i am trying to kill him he has decided in the last couple of days too that he hates the rice cereal he will only eat the fruit and veggie by its self and even then it is has kinda been a fight to get him to eat that i think mainly its his teeth bugging him but i wonder if he is in that in between stage where he doesn t want baby food and he doesn t want big people food and he will starve for awhile till he likes big people food he loves to stand up to everything aspyn favorite thing to do with mccoy is to make him laugh she is the best at getting him to smile and laugh and to give him hugs and play with him and carry him around when mom asks me too chezney s favorite thing is to watch mccoy eat things like leaves and grass posted by the ivins gang at 3 38 pm no comments 7 21 14 big birthday boy we had a fun and chill day on mccoy s actual birthday coy woke up to balloons all over the floor he wasn t pleased that i put him down to play with them so it took big sister aspyn to convince him it was fun we had a few appts that day and swimming lessons so it was busniess as usual for us he did take a fabulous nap at grandma s while i went to the dentist in cello then when we all got home we opened his prestns adn had dinner and sang happy birthday and let him have the cake he wasn t interested in the cake he acted just like aspyn when she was little he would look at it and cry over it like he was saying get this thing out of my face he put his hand it slightly two or three times but that was it happy birthday little boy we love you more than words could ever say you are such a joy to all of us in our home and are so glad you are apart of this family 8 57 am exactly 1 year old checking out the balloons and not pleased about it aspyn got involved and finally got him to realize life was good with a bunch of balloons he soon loved them just hanging out with the birthday boy he kept watching me take pictures and was this little ham about it so freakin cute our handsome 1 year old opening presents he dived right it to help he loved his dump truck and his train and the card board and his little cart he got spoiled he loved walking with it and was pretty darn sturdy and good the excruciatingly ugly dinosaur cake he loved the flame he was intrigued by it he must be a typical boy that loved fire he sat and cried unless you talked to him and then he would laugh and smile the girls wanted so bad to dive in and eat it too this was the reaction from the taste test in the picture right above chez wiped it all over the glass door and after i got upset at her she decided to take matters into her own hands and clean it off the extent of how messy he got pretty darn disappointing but oh well tyler was happy not to have to clean up the mess posted by the ivins gang at 11 35 am no comments older posts home subscribe to posts
