andy alicia dodger bronx skip to main skip to sidebar andy alicia dodger bronx tuesday november 1 2016 the chicken massacre we had a pretty bad chicken experience last week we had let our chickens out to roam and graze which we do all the time if kade is around with his dog we put them back because his dog likes to eat chickens but we ve never had to worry about kenny s dogs well this particular time kenny s dog must have come over to eat some of morgan s dog food and found the chickens out they had a hay day with those poor birds they ended up killing 13 of our 7 chickens the boys weren t as sad as i thought they d be but they were still a little shook up the saddest was poor little stihl went and found his chicken cock a doodle do it was dead in the arena when he found it he grabbed it by the legs and carried it over to us and with the saddest little voice said i found cock a doodle do it was so little heart breaking then he found his other white chicken pecker dead also dodger was ready to fight the dogs but after we talked to them and discussed how that s just the way of life and the food chain when it comes to animals i think they understood ok and we already have new chickens to replace these ones posted by andy alicia at 11 00 am no comments saturday march 22 2014 bronx s head owies poor bronx if there is something that could maybe possibly hit him in the head he will without a doubt hit it he is constantly hitting his head on the corner of the counter or the door knob or banging it on the wall but the worst so far was over christmas break when we had the trampoline up in our living room the kids thought it would be a good idea to put pillow cases over their heads and then jump apparently bronx thought we would tell him when to stop or turn so he didn t fall off but we didn t realize we were playing the game and actually we didn t even realize they were playing the game or we wouldn t have let them anyway he walked right off the side of the tramp and hit his head on the edge of the counter and split it open we took him to our friend danny millward s house who is a pa and the stapled it up for us it looked pretty mean with the staples in there to make this all worse a few weeks before the day after christmas we went out shooting guns with my family and carter through a rock and it hit him in the head and it bled so much but it wasn t as bad as the blood made it seem and he s super tough which is lucky since he does hit his head so much andy ended up taking the staples out at our house and then that night he hit his head again on the wall in the exact same spot it popped it back open but not bad enough to have to stitch it up again seriously i m considering getting him a helmet or a hard hat to wear permanently posted by andy alicia at 4 28 pm no comments saturday march 15 2014 stihl at 9 months old and older here are a few things about our special little stihly boy started sitting up on august 28th started army crawling on september 3rd started crawling on october 2nd he started standing up on things on october 6th got his 2 bottom teeth on december 18th started walking behind things on december 20th started saying mama and dada but i don t think he knows what they mean yet january 3rd he can stand up without support took his first steps on january 21st first wave was to grandpa black on january 24th he was fully walking by 10 1 2 months he s now almost running just 10 days shy of his first birthday posted by andy alicia at 5 00 pm no comments saturday december 14 2013 sledding we thought it would be fun to take the kids up to dry wash to go sledding we all had a blast i love that the boys are such dare devils and it wouldn t be sledding without a little hot chocolate to warm us up afterwards andy is always too hot to drink any from having to pack the kids up and down the hill so much posted by andy alicia at 4 50 pm no comments thursday november 21 2013 cold winter horse ride daddy taking dodger for a little ride dodger is very allergic to horses so this came with a price but loves them so so much that every once in a while we let him go for a ride and just deal with the consequences later bronx didn t get to go for the ride but he wanted in on the action a little too so i took him down while they were saddling up and let him sit on the horse for a little bit while daddy got everything ready posted by andy alicia at 10 36 am no comments thursday november 14 2013 trip to washington to visit the cook s i really wanted to go and visit amber and her family in washington at first we had planned that andy was going to come with me then we decided i would just take the baby and go alone then we decided i would take all of the kids by myself and andy would stay and finish the master bathroom then we decided to invite michelle to go along with me and the kids she came with us and we drove all the way up to dave and marlene s house in tremonton the first day then the rest of the way to amber s the next day bronx was getting a little car sick i think from watching movies while we were driving so we had to stop at wal mart and get him a throw up bucket they were all troopers the whole time and great travelers michelle and i made a deal that i would pay for the gas to get there and she would pay for the food it worked out good and she ended up spoiling the kids with happy meals at every stop they loved it we had so much fun at amber and daves house besides all of the fits my kids were throwing even though michelle and i loved getting to hang out with amber and play with her kids amber fed us great all day and entertained us they had just bought a house so it was fun to get to see it stihl and zac had fun playing together they are such cute little cousins stihl loved uncle dave dave would babysit all the kids so us girls could hang out a little bit even dave s mom pauline came over and babysat so we could go shopping it was so nice and the kids all had a great time with her we went to a couple different parks had dance parties organized amber s pantry went to dinner shopping made wreaths the kids crafted and made superhero masks rode bikes went for walks and stayed up way to late every night it was so fun when it was time for us to come home michelle and i decided to wake up extra early and get on the road we wanted to try and make it the whole way home in one day which we did it was a little crazy and we were pretty tired but it was way worth it to not have to get the kids out of the car only to have to put them right back in the next
