that evan is part of our family he is such a joy and the happiest little guy he is constantly making us laugh at the cute things he does and he brings so much love into our lives he is 100 boy with a love for anything with wheels or that flies loves building with legos blocks or anything he can stack would live outside if i let him climbs on everything he s our little monkey boy he adores animals and has to pet any dog cat or hamster that he sees and when it s a stuffed animal he ll give it a hug and tuck it under his chin haha he s a cuddler especially when he has his favorite blanket with him and he s watching tv which he also loves a little too much he loves playing toddler games on my ipad and he s actually pretty good he loves music and dances to any toy that plays a tune and loves having the radio on in the car or music playing at home he ll usually nod his head bounce around or kick his leg to the beat we adore him here s proof of his love for animals he loves my parents golden retriever ace he s a good pillow giving ace his bone this is how he s been walking lately with both his arms behind him and leaned forward like he s trying to fly haha bahahaha i wish the camera captured just how funny this looked but his lips were dry i guess and got caught on his gums and it stayed like this for a couple minutes it was hilarious i love my boys so evan likes to play in the dishwasher he knows how to unlatch it and bring it down and he ll put his toys in the silverware baskets and in the cups on the top rack i would try and get him to stop but he just has so much fun and he s so cute so it really doesn t bother me but this one particular day he climbed all the way in which he s never done and he totally got stuck and was hanging on for dear life lol and yes i let him hang out there long enough to turn on the camera and take a picture haha he wasn t about to let go it hasn t happened since lol silly boy little cutie bug these little brothers adore each other evan follows jake around all day trying to do exactly what he does and jake likes to have evan with him at least most of the time they are true buddies and we hope they stay pals forever here is some of their wrestle mania time that happens a lot and it usually ends with evan pulling jake s hair haha not very hard but just enough to get a rise out him which is something he s gotten good at with jake and it makes steve and i laugh soooo hard evan and his cars i don t know how he does it but he always makes a huge mess with everything he is eating this is a typical sight after he s done saturday october 6 2012 firetrucks and aquariums we have a fireman in our ward that let jake and two of his little buddies come to the firehouse and take a tour of a firetruck to say it was the best day in their lives is an understatement they loved every second and had huge bug eyes the entire time we were there they couldn t take everything in fast enough they got some cool flashlights that they used on anything and everything the fireman gave the boys full sized snickers bars then apologized to the moms later haha we got to ride on the firetruck it was awesome they turned on the sirens and everything and they boys put on the headphones and talked in the walkie talkies little boy heaven we went to the aquarium of the pacific in long beach with my dad and sarah evan was in awe and pointing at everything he saw it s so fun to watch him learn and grow and see what things he likes it was fun with jake too because the last time we came to this aquarium he was too young to really get into it but this time he wanted to learn about everything and kept asking questions and it was soooo fun i love teaching my kids about life jake was brave enough to touch the jellyfish i think that was the highlight of this trip for him he was sooo proud of himself and kept talking about it the rest of the day haha poor evan was soooo tired we got off to a late start and didn t get there until like 12 which was close to nap time of course he was a trooper though sharks jellyfish this is a life size model of a blue whale which is the largest animal on earth and it really puts things is parents live about 30 minutes from zoomars the most awesome place ever we ve been going there every year usually to pick pumpkins in the fall time but this time we went in june just because we love it it s has a petting zoo with bunnies guinea pigs llamas goats horses pigs and i m sure other things that i can t remember there s a little train playground a sandbox filled with corn kernels instead of sand a hay bale maze pony rides and in the fall time there s a pumpkin patch it s seriously so fun and the boys are in heaven feeding the bunnies we didn t even need to show evan what to do with the carrots and lettuce he just knew they belonged to the guinea pigs and bunnies he loves animals so much he s a sweetheart this bunny really liked jake he sat so still on his lap for the longest time jake named him brownie original llamas little boys and trains need i say more i sooooo want one of these at our house someday corn kernel clean up would be so much easier than sand these horses always looked like they were giving us kissy faces hehe pony rides yeee haaawww and this little guy really liked evan he actually sat still when e put him in his lap most of them could sense that evan was it all started when we met in an english class at byu idaho we hit it off right away and after many many dates we got married in august 2006 we enjoyed a little more than 2 years of spontanaity as a couple and then in late december 2008 we brought into our happy home a beautiful baby boy named jacob he is our greatest joy and a perfect addition to our family we currently live in sunny warm southern california and are loving it here there are many wonderful and crazy adventures we have had so far and we are looking forward to the ultimate adventure of life to continue on view my complete
