ions يدعوهم إلى الدين الإسلامي والإيمان بمحمد صلّى الله عليه وسلّم بما يصفه من محاسن شرعه ودينه وما يذكره من براهين رسالة محمد صلّى الله عليه وسلّم ليهتدي من قصده الحق والإنصاف وتقوم الحجة على المعاند false and misguidance ويدعوهم بما يخوِّفهم من أَخَذَات الأمم وعقوبات الدنيا وعقوبات الآخرة وبما في الأديان الباطلة من أنواع الشرور والعواقب الخبيثة ويحذرهم من طاعة رؤساء الشر ودعاة النار وأنهم لا بد أن تتقطع نفوسهم على طاعتهم حسرات وأنهم يتمنون أن لو أطاعوا الرسول ولم يطيعوا السادة والرؤساء وأن مودتهم وصداقتهم ستتبدَّل بغضاء وعداوة ـ he also calls them to islam by instilling fear in them of how النساء ١٠٥ إنا أنزلنا إليك أيها الرسول القرآن مشتملًا على الحق لتفصل بين الناس جميعًا بما أوحى الله إليك وبَصَّرك به فلا تكن للذين يخونون أنفسهم بكتمان الحق مدافعًا عنهم بما أبدوه لك من القول المخالف للحقيقة ـ إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ لِتَحْكُمَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ بِمَا أَرَاكَ اللَّهُ ۚ وَلَا تَكُن لِّلْخَائِنِينَ خَصِيمًا we certainly sent the scripture down to you in truth in order for you to judge between the people according to what allah has showed you and do not be an advocate for the deceitful ones 4 105 we sent the qur an down to you o messenger containing the truth so that you could judge between all people according to what allah has revealed and made clear to you so do not be a defender of those who betray themselves by hiding the truth basing that defense of the statements they make to you which are at odds with reality ـ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرِ ٱللَّهَۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورࣰا رَّحِیمࣰا النساء ١٠٦ واطلب من الله تعالى المغفرة في جميع أحوالك إن الله تعالى كان غفورًا لمن يرجو فضله ونوال مغفرته رحيمًا به ـ وَاسْتَغْفِرِ اللَّهَ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا and ask allah for forgiveness allah is certainly forgiving merciful 4 106 and seek forgiveness from allah in all circumstances allah is forgiving and merciful to those who hope for his bounty and forgiveness ـ وَلَا تُجَـٰدِلۡ عَنِ ٱلَّذِینَ یَخۡتَانُونَ أَنفُسَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ خَوَّانًا أَثِیمࣰا النساء ١٠٧ ولا تدافع عن الذين يخونون أنفسهم بمعصية الله إن الله سبحانه لا يحب مَن عَظُمَتْ خيانته وكثر ذنبه ـ وَلَا تُجَادِلْ عَنِ الَّذِينَ يَخْتَانُونَ أَنفُسَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ خَوَّانًا أَثِيمًا and do not argue on behalf of those who deceive themselves allah does not love anyone who is a habitual lying sinner 4 107 and do not defend those who betray themselves by disobeying allah allah does not love those who betrayal is so great and whose sins are so many ـ یَسۡتَخۡفُونَ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَا یَسۡتَخۡفُونَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ مَعَهُمۡ إِذۡ یُبَیِّتُونَ مَا لَا یَرۡضَىٰ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡلِۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِمَا یَعۡمَلُونَ مُحِیطًا النساء ١٠٨ يستترون من الناس خوفًا من اطلاعهم على أعمالهم السيئة ولا يستترون من الله تعالى ولا يستحيون منه وهو عزَّ شأنه معهم بعلمه مطَّلع عليهم حين يدبِّرون ليلًا ما لا يرضى من القول وكان الله تعالى محيطًا بجميع أقوالهم وأفعالهم لا يخفى عليه منها شيء ـ يَسْتَخْفُونَ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَلَا يَسْتَخْفُونَ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ مَعَهُمْ إِذْ يُبَيِّتُونَ مَا لَا يَرْضَىٰ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطًا they conceal things from people but they cannot conceal things from allah he is with them when they spend the night plotting with words that are not pleasing to him and allah is fully aware of what they do 4 108 they conceal things from people fearing that they would come to know of their evil deeds but they do not conceal anything from allah nor do they have any shame before him and he exalted is he is with them with his knowledge
