williams at heart williams at heart wedding anniversary sunday august 7 2011 day 15 something or someone you couldn t live without because you ve tried living without it unlike some diet coke or coke or some type of drink is one that most might say but not me okay maybe a frazzle jk no it is not food everyone has to have this no it is not being single i have done this obviously i don t enjoy it but it is a way of life i can t put my son because i have not tried living without him and i hope i never have to no it is not the gospel i have never turned my back from it or tried living without it not willing to take the chance so what is it that i could not live without that i have tried i know many things i do not ever want to live without but i have not tried it unless i can say my father i comments saturday august 6 2011 day 14 a hero that has let you down do we even know what the word hero means well here i go to explain that webster dictionary 1 a a mythological or legendary figure often of divine descent endowed with great strength or ability b an illustrious warrior c a man admired for his achievements and noble qualities d one who shows great courage 2 a the principal male character in a literary or dramatic work b the central figure in an event period or movement 3 an object of extreme admiration and devotion idol one a and b refers to mythology and legend since i really don t believe in those things it is hard for me to find a hero i did love the story of king arthur though i also loved aphrodite but i will never be her the 2 a and b refers to literature and drama most of my heroes there are fictional i have to say my favorite characters of women are both from the taming of the shrew i love the tenacity of kate and the loving of the bianca but since shakespeare characters do not exist in real life i have to keep going on my hunt for a hero so for number 3 something that i admire and devote to well some would look at me and say it must be food but that is not true i would have to say frazzle a slush drink i love slushes and would have one everyday if i could inspite of this it is not my hero so we will go back to 1c and 1d i admire many for their achievements and noble qualities i also admire many who show great courage there are many historical figures such as abraham lincoln thomas jefferson john f kennedy rosa parks etc are all amazing individuals who have achieved much i know that some of them did not always stay faithful to their spouses but everyone is human not that that gives them the freedom to be stupid though i just know that i have qualities that could be looked down upon also so please look at the good things when it comes to everyday heroes i can list my grandparents my parents my sister my brother and his family my son and my husband i could list many of my friends as well and yes sometimes i have been let down by those i love but i don t believe any one of my heroes to be vindictive or rude we are all human and make mistakes but they are all good people so my challenge was to find someone that has let me down i can t say that i have answered that but i have chosen to see the good in them and to hermits barry manilow dan fogelberg abba neil diamond osmonds styx as i got older i did not change much i do like to listen to a lot of country jazz hip hop pop soft rock and such i have never liked rap when i went through the loss of my first husband the osmonds and the carpenters were the only 2 groups i could really listen to i have since found lots of people i like to listen to but i think what i like most are the lyrics that make me feel good i would have to say the lds hymns and children hymns are the ones that really speak to my heart i am really in to harmony so when i hear a great were true that would be nice i am not really one that believes in compliments so i cannot answer this question at all sorry folks i guess one thing i love is that i love fix a spread for parties i do get compliments that i am a family person like my father and a cook like my mother i love that i get compliments from my family but they are biased because they are my blood having all of my family in needs to let go of me i do believe that everyone comes into your life for a reason sometimes we don t understand that reason but we grow and learn eventually i know there are a few people in my life that are difficult to be around we all have bad day often bad weeks or months sometimes it is even a year we all hurt and struggle but life is about how you deal with them i think my hardest is when one is stuck in a depressive mode or mood they suck the life right out of me i don t think i despise anyone to the amount of not wanting them rid of but out of my life would be nice i do have a couple that have stayed in my life longer than should have and i have no control of getting them out of my life but i do have control how much contact or how i let them affect me i know i have to learn to
