10 08 2011 the many faces of keller keller will be 10 months did you hear that ten months on october 13 where in the world did the time go i can t believe how fast my baby is growing up i swear he learns things over night one day he couldn t crawl the next he is a pro one day he loves baby food the next day all he wants is mommy s food seriously though he is so over the mushy shhhtuff he wants the real thing his personality is hilarious he is one crazy boy i think he gets that from his mama at least he got 100 of his looks from his daddy just a few fun things about our baby keller loves drinking out of a straw he makes the funniest faces when he is done because when he was first learning i would clap and say yay when he would drink so now every time he drinks out of his straw he looks at me and waits for my reaction he loves to be chased the second we take a step towards him he screams and crawls away like a maniac then he pauses looks back screams again and takes off he also likes to play hide and seek i am usually the hider and he tries to find me when he does he tackles me and screams haha he is the best at peek a boo it all started with a bath towel right out of the bath i always play peek a boo to keep him entertained while trying to put lotion diaper and pj s on one day he grabbed the towel and started playing he held the towel over his face and waited for me to say where s keller i was busting up so now its part of our daily bath routine keller hates the gym i am lucky if i get a 30 minute work out before getting paged keller s mommy please report to the childcare or a little hispanic lady walks around the gym with a sign that says keller s mommy sometimes i just ignore it and pretend i don t know who keller s mommy is haha he loves to play with other kids thats why i am confused that he doesn t like the gym he loves to watch and chase the big kids keller is currently sleeping in the closet in his pack and play wish i never started that habit its just so dark and quiet so he will take long wonderful naps french fries crap thats another thing i wish i hadn t introduced to him he knows what they are and screams until he gets some loves the bath shower and swimming he goes under water like a pro his favorite toy right now is a harry potter wand that makes noise and he loves to hit it on everything his favorite thing to play with that is not a toy is our phones lap tops and ipad he knows how to unlock it and makes things big and small its actually pretty funny teething yuck he currently has 3 and a half teeth his 2 bottoms top left vampire tooth and his right one just started coming through i hate teething well i could go on and on about this sweet crazy fun boy i just wanted to jot down a few funny things about him he is trying to pull down dads shorts right now as i am typing this thats another funny thing every time i am doing dishes he pulls him self up using my pants silly kid we are sure grateful for this baby boy i love him more than i ever imagined posted by colby and steph stringham 7 comments 8 11 2011 wowza its been a long time man alive i thought when i had keller i thought i would be blogging my life away or his life i guess but instead i am further behind than i ever have been keller is now 8 months old almost to the day i can t believe it where has the time gone every month i take a picture with his buddy bob bob the bear to see how keller is growing well this month i decided to do a little photo shoot with the whole gang it turned out to be one of my most favorite shoots yet keller cracks me up he is getting to be so much fun and is all over the place we just lowered his crib mattress last night because he has pulled himself up a few times and could easily flip over scary after colby lowered it we just couldn t stop starring at the crib like what the this means our baby is growing up haha we are such dorks anyway keller started army crawling while we were in utah in july he is now a pro he is crazy keller is in the 10th percentile for weight and the 30th for height he is about 16 5 pounds and 26 inches he loves food not just baby food but mommy s food he is a big eater and loves him some bananas i am hoping to be a better blogger mainly to journal keller s life he is just too much fun not to blog about so here is hoping to a new start posted by colby and steph stringham 5 comments 5 16 2011 march of dimes march for babies colby s work e trade was a sponsor for the march of dimes walk it was in down town houston a couple weeks ago and we were able to walk the whole 5 miles with a few of his co workers and the rest of texas there were so many people it only took us oh maybe 3 hours to do 5 miles everyone was walking so slow it was so funny but it was a lot of fun to get to know the wives of colby s co workers it was a super hot and muggy day and the little babies did awesome keller loves to be in the stroller and people watch haha it was pretty cool to see how many people showed up for this fundraiser we were glad to be apart of it and sport these super rad purple shirts little buddies keller bo they were such troopers waking up early and being in the stroller on a hot and muggy day posted by colby and steph stringham 3 comments 5 08 2011 happy mother s day happy mothers day to our beautiful moms on this special day i have said this before and i will say it again i am so grateful to have so many amazing women in my life to look up to to learn from and love so much i couldn t have asked for a better mother she makes me see the positive in life when sometimes i only see the negative my mom has taught me so much she is so compassionate she teaches so much through her actions the way she raised me and my siblings the way she treats my dad she is always helping other people and making them feel so loved my mom is my best friend and i love her dearly there is nothing better than knowing you can depend on your mom for anything i am so thankful for such a wonderful mother in law who is more my other mom than an in law i couldn t have hand picked another mother thank you sue for raising such an amazing handsome son i love the relationship you and colby have he looks up to you and loves you so much so do i the thing i loved most when we were dating was the way he treated his mother you know you are a cool mom when your teenage son loves to double date with his parents we are beyond lucky to have the most incredible beautiful fun loving patient mother s thank you we love you words cannot express how much i love being a mom keller is our angel baby he has brought such a sweet spirit into our home and my life before he came i honestly wondered if i was ever going to be a mother i was getting impatient and was scared that it would never happen now that he is here i can t imagine my life with out him it is so fun to see both me and colby come out in his little personality he cracks me up i am so thankful to my heavenly father for teaching me patience and love at the same time i have waited for this calling for a while now and today i am enjoying it more than ever keller was worth the wait i love you forever i love you for
