robin keeping record robin keeping record monday december 10 2012 chloe at 8 months chloe turned 8 months old november 30th so another 10 days has already gone by since then but i have to document all the darling stuff she is doing these days honestly she is so super fun right now and funny too she is crawling on her hands and knees like a big girl all the time now no more with her belly on the ground she is fast too and can get anywhere in the house including climbing into our shower where i found her today after i answered the door for a minute she pulls herself up to a standing position constantly on whatever she can use for leverage a chair the fridge a toy the tub you name it she definitely makes herself heard these days she squeals with delight lets out a war cry when she s got a nice grip on charlotte or paisley s hair sings along with tucker or the radio laughs and babbles but rarely cries recently we were all seated at the kitchen table having dinner and she was right along side in her high chair someone said something funny and we all started to laugh right on cue chloe joined in the laughter she is still very friendly to strangers and smiles for any kid she sees everyone tells me how pretty she is her hair hasn t grown much in length but i feel the texture becoming more coarse she loves being tossed in the air usually by daddy or uncle adam and is our first baby that enjoyed that this young she also loves being upside down and will occasionally throw back her head to get there while facing me in my lap she pulls faces while in utah for thanksgiving she entertained everyone by doing this funny frowny bitter beer face and for several days would do it every time she saw the camera she also does an adorable scrunched up face sometimes it even includes sniffing noises she is seriously a ham she is still our little chubby although with all the crawling around she doesn t seem quite as roly poly anymore it is so bittersweet to see her growing so fast november 2012 this year we celebrated our nephew kolbe s birthday by rapelling at coons bluff it s so much fun to see the kids being so brave and independant henry even went on his own rope with trent right below him on a separate rope charlotte and trent tucker on his own henry and trent paisley got to ride the rope as a swing every couple of years we get to go have thanksgiving at aspen groves in provo canyon ut with trent s family grandparents and some of his cousins it is about 10 hours of driving time from here we split up the drive by stopping in st george with his other grandparents it is such nice time with family and we are treated to 2 thanksgiving dinners cousins being silly chloe being hilarious with aunt stacey grandma and grandpa summers with chloe at this awesome park in st george every couple of years we get to go have thanksgiving at aspen groves in provo canyon ut with trent s family grandparents and some of his cousins it is about 10 hours of driving time from here siblings and puts a kid or two in ski school this year trent left his snowboard and home and rented skiis which he never does to spend the day teaching charlotte how to ski and getting tucker more now she is very vocal now she coos in sentences and hums as well taking the kids to school involves about a 10 minute drive there the last two days we have turned off the radio and just listened to chloe tell us her stories the rest of us laugh at all the right places what a great way to start the day posted by robin at 8 32 am 2 comments thursday october 11 2012 paisley is 4 so i have been neglecting this blog as usual paisley turned 4 on september 19th we first celebrated with my family with a sunday dinner we celebrated all the september birthdays which include my brothers mark and spencer my sister emily and paisley we also said goodbye to my brother ted who was leaving a couple days later for basic training for the united states airforce we are so proud of him to celebrate i made some funny prints of the faces of those we were celebrating and we took some silly pictures karen s birthday was late august so we included her face but i ran out of cardstock before getting a picture of emily printed mark and charlotte as mark i brought some other photo props just for fun ted and his true love on paisley s actual birthday we had doughnuts and presents in the morning then lunch with grandma and grandpa at rubios the next sunday we celebrated with trent s family this year paisley has been loving barbies mermaids barbie mermaids tangled rapunzel and barbie rapunzel she now has quite the array of barbies and mermaids paisley is my girlie girl she only wants to wear dresses and skirts and only certain ones so many of charlotte s perfectly good hand me downs are going to waste i have finally convinced her to wear shorts under her dresses because her legs are usually in the air she started a dance class that teaches ballet and hip hop and she loves it she usually will not let me put her hair in any piggies or clips but she will let me do piggies for ballet because it is in the rules she sings to many songs on the radio and often requests me to turn the volume up she is funny and bossy and plays well alone she has a best friend ella whom she loves which is fine by me because i happen to love her mother she loves her nails painted but they never last long she is a nail biter and picker she loves reading books looking at them in bed and brushing or playing with long hair she often tells me she is cute and that she has fat cheeks she is so brave and daring oh paisley we love you so much please stop growing so quickly posted by robin at 11 08 pm 1 comment monday september 17 2012 i can t believe chloe is 5 1 2 months already she is growing much too fast she is sitting up on her own for small amounts of time that are turning into longer and longer amounts of time each day this week her first tooth broke through on wednesday and the second followed just a day later her personality is starting to really shine through with funny gummy grins where she squints her eyes and scrunches up her nose she is laughing more she loves to throw back her head and be tipped upside down she loves to be held in the air she loves to splash her hands in the pool and bath she is such a joy to everyone and still impresses everyone with her long curly eyelashes she continues to love bouncing in the johnny jump up and now loves the exersaucer as well and rolling from one end of the room to the other she is trying to scoot when she sees something she wants by pushing her bum in the air and trying to move forward when she pushes her legs back out she is still nursing exclusively and is a very loud eater growling almost the entire feeding she also
