bougainvillea http www one org skip to main skip to sidebar monday october 1 2012 lj s blessing lj was given a name and a blessing by her father on september 30 2012 he gave her such a beautiful blessing and the day was very nice we got to church in plenty of time and she was very calm during her blessing i found this dress for lj on etsy while i was pregnant when we found out we were having a girl i was very excited to have already have a dress picked out for her the woman who made it was very kind and was willing to make a few changes that i wanted r did such a nice job with the blessing a few of the things he blessed her with were to have a good work ethic to have a good sense of humor to find peace joy and happiness in this life to seek knowledge in this life and to gain a testimony he also blessed her to find joy in being a part of our family which i thought was so nice there were other things she was blessed with but those things really stood out to me c loves her baby sister she has never been jealous of her and has always been quite protective of her she was so excited to see lj all dressed up m is such a great helper to me with lj she is always wanting to help with the baby and i think lj is starting to feel really comfortable with m i am so blessed to have these girls in my life b also loves little lj she kept saying how beautiful her wedding dress was i had to correct her and tell her it was a blessing dress in her defense it does look like a wedding dress i love these girls and my husband so much i feel so lucky to have them in my life lj s outfit for after her blessing i was too worried she might ruin her pretty dress lately lj is starting to suck things and her dress was no exception this was her response when i kept pulling the dress out of her mouth posted by zeeny at 3 02 pm 1 comment thursday june 7 2012 at the park the other day we went to the park to play while m had her last girls on the run practice the girls ran to the park and had a little celebration and we just decided to play while they ran c is fearless and will do anything she had so much fun at the park actually don t tell her it is a park she insists it is a playground i don t know where she got that from but i don t argue about it b had so much fun it ended up that several kids from her first grade class were there and she had lots of fun running around and playing with them she also loved the pop cycle the she got when the runners had their little party she loves red white and blue pop cycles when m came her and some of her friends climbed up this spider web thing she had a lot of fun this year participating in girls on the run and is really excited to run the 5k with her daddy on a side note c was climbing up this web type toy and fell but was able to catch herself in the process of falling instead of crying or being upset she said ta da she is such a silly girl she makes us laugh quite a bit which is fun for all of us posted by zeeny at 10 19 pm 2 comments sunday august 29 2010 it s your birthday dear c today you turn one year old and i cannot believe it this past year has gone by so quickly you are still a baby in my eyes but you are learning and growing so much each new day i love your sweet smiles and your warm cuddles i have so many hopes for you future but most of all i want you to be happy life is so full of so much good and i want you to be able to experience it all i know life is not always easy but i know you will be able to meet all the ups and downs in your life and conquer whatever is needed when you were one day old we found out you were born with a hole in your heart although this was not a life threatening situation it still brought worries with it we found out this week that the hole in your heart has healed itself and closed what a great blessing you have already conquered many things in your one year of life i know you will take that fighting spirit and grow and develop into a confident and loving lady i love you so much c you have made me a better mommy and a better person your sweet calm spirit has had a calming affect on the whole family i love watching your personality develop and grow i look forward to lots of love and fun in the years to come love mama i just thought i would add these pictures quickly we are waiting to actually celebrate your birthday when grandma and grandpa b come out but you did get a cupcake on your actual birthday as you can see the cupcake was a hit you were so cute eating that cupcake i am not sure if more made it into your mouth or on your body walking i decided it was time to finally buy you a proper pair of walking shoes although the shoes are really cute it makes trying to walk a bit harder for you it s like you have to get used to a whole new foot as you try to take your first steps the walking might be harder but you sure do love playing with the cute flowers on the shoes and you love that when you actually take a step your shoes squeak i love the squeak noise now we ll see how i like once you have mastered running around posted by zeeny at 9 43 am no comments saturday august 21 2010 week 51 dear c this week you are getting braver as you walk along the couch you still don t walk without assistance but you do let go every once in awhile to see what will happen you love your big sisters and as you can tell they love you they never want you to be in trouble and hate to see you cry i think you got pretty lucky in the big sister department this is the scene i walk into every morning you are always so happy and excited to see me usually you are standing up either shaking your bed or moving your body up and down you also like to walk around your crib holding on to the edge seriously this face makes my mornings happy you still get tired around dinner time and follow me around the kitchen trying to get me to pick you up holding you and cooking don t work out to well so mostly you cry in the kitchen while i try talking to you as i make dinner you also love watching your daddy and big sisters wrestle you still keep your distance and sometimes cry thinking they are getting hurt someday you will 2010 week 50 look at this little face i just love your cute round face and your big blue eyes you are pretty much a happy little girl c however when mama tries to make dinner this is often what i get i think you are just hungry and getting tired and you just want me you crawl around me in the kitchen and plop yourself down at my feet and cry it makes me so sad but i also know i just need to get dinner ready so you can be a bit happier you still have a slight obsession with your bink it took you six months of mommy forcing it on you but now you love it this week we celebrated m s birthday so
