others both gale and the controller were lapping up the praise and they were due to have a brainstorming meeting to discuss the next target once the controller returned from his annual holiday in greece gale had secured extra funding for the clandestine department and at the end of the meeting angela was informed that she was getting a promotion to the next grade up and that carried a twenty percent pay increase she was effusive with her thanks the wedding was a happy occasion even little wilfred had a role to play as he was ring bearer with a small cushion fixed to his back by a strap arranged as soon as the hardback paperback and electronic versions were scheduled for sale two weeks later it was to be held in edinburgh in the caledonian hotel in princes street with press one in the usa in 1958 with the original by written david seville and then was covered by don lang in britain that same year later followed by versions by alvin and the chipmunks in 1961 1983 1984 1990 and a remix in 2007 the alvin and the chipmunks recordings were also created by david seville whose real name was ross bagdasarian so ross had a hit with the same song numerous times including on down to work in the converted loft that she used as a fully equipped office and writing room at first andy felt like a spare part but he settled into taking on the role of house husband very quickly beetleypete 39 comments not my photo there was some excitement yesterday as there was a chance of seeing a 95 eclipse of the sun from britain we had to go out anyway and decided to leave it until late afternoon as the supposed best time to see the eclipse was between 5pm 7pm first stop was the tile and flooring shop on the industrial estate behind the tesco superstore we chose some wall and floor tiles for the new shower room that is replacing the bathroom and told the salesman that our plumber would be in later this month to buy them back outside just before 5pm no sign of an eclipse starting quickly popped around to tesco to buy a gift voucher for a family birthday coming up still hot and sunny when we came out then we decided to go to the homeware shop the range to buy a new toilet roll holder hand towel ring and small waste bin to have ready for the new shower room that s only a 5 minute drive from tesco by the time we left there it was getting closer to 6pm but the sun was still shining brightly a short drive back to the car park in town we had found out that the turkish restaurant was open again after a short holiday closure and we were the first people in there for dinner starters and main course eaten and enjoyed we took our drinks outside to sit at the small table on the street by then it was 7 20pm and still quite sunny but a few degrees cooler on the way home the the conversation maria was having on the phone but as she was half smiling he presumed it was nothing too serious he said what and just from a story outline he wants what a complete explanation of why shifty look as it probably wasn t every day that they got a call to hand over property to someone who was not a relative or a copper and her i d was non specific just stating home office next to her photo it was one of several issued to her that were used to make sure the person seeing them didn t make an immediate connection with the security services back at headquarters she went to the property room and let herself in using the door code she made an entry into the old school ledger book taking the reference number that followed on from the one above then she took down one of the security boxes opened it using the door code again and wrote the ledger reference number on the white card on the outside of the box instead of placing the watch inside she left it empty then she closed the box and took it to the shelves at the back of the room moving other boxes out of place to slot it in out of order by the time anyone noticed she would have had time to do what she intended
