these are a few of my favorite things skip to main skip to sidebar tuesday november 9 2010 my living room thanks to shelley i have this awesome couch and chair that started a wonderful vision check her out at www customslipcoversbyshelley blogspot com 2010 09 camilles front room html the pictures don t do it justice can you tell i love grey and yellow my camera doesn t work so i had to take some pictures with jare s phone ugh look at the detail on that slip cover this couch was a yard sale find for 20 and then my fabric was only 4 a yard go shelley for making it awesome the coffee table was a 5 find at the thrift store nothing i a little paint couldn t handle the flower fabric was from a yard sale for 1 my sister in law gave me this cute flower box this fabric was free at the fabric store it was just a scrap and shelley made it into a pillow so true this end table was given to me by my cousin im thinking of painting the top lime green maybe not we will see i just love love love paisley 2010 just an idea i like to give gifts to new moms that is something that i wish i would have had or something that other people don t think of giving i came up with this idea when my little sister was having her first baby i remember when i was in the hospital having my kids and how over whelmed i was with all of the paper work and stuff that we would get and then coming home and trying to remember where you stuck all of the important papers and documents so i made an organized folder that has a place for everything and also has all of your information in it i call it the hospital folder i put an envelope for the insurance cards or info a paper to write down visitors so you can remember thank you cards a calendar to look at for dr appointments and other things baby s dr info and a place to write down the birth information folders for paper work take home medical info birth certificate and ss info the clips say to send file and i can t remember the other one the best thing is after the hospital you can turn this folder into your baby s information book keep all medical history and dr information in it birth certificate and ss its great to have and know where everything is posted by camille at 6 45 am 4 comments thursday november 4 2010 its time i think it s time to start blogging again i don t think anyone looks at my blog any more there is so much to catch up on i m just going to start from now and move forward not much is new with us we work and play hard raegan is loving pre school and kade loves his alone time with mommy they have grown up so quickly my kids make me laugh every day i love it jared is doing very well at work and enjoys running relays with me we travel ever few months to run a race we have a fun group of friends that we run around with jared is in the young men s presidency and im in the primary presidency so we stay very involved with our ward we love where we are living and hope to be here for ever posted by camille at 9 36 am 11 comments tuesday may 25 2010 mcdonalds and chipotle pass it on mall of america is huge it really is pretty cool for a mall i had a interesting experience though i left my dad sitting in one part of the food court while i wheeled the kids around the corner to get some mcdonald s i stepped up to the counter and this big black guy said how are you today i looked right at him and said i m great how are you doing he was really surprised that i was so cheery and had actually responded to him that he said well wow i think i m doing pretty good too thank you i then proceeded to make an order but was going back and forth a little on the prices for chicken mc nuggets he said ya know i m feeling pretty happy right now so let me figure something out for you he then created this order of 2 six piece chicken nuggets 2 fries and 2 chocolate milks he was calculating things on the register and then said that will be two dollars and fifty cents i said oh my gosh thank you so much he said just pass it on pass the good on i smiled at him and i promised him that i would i now had a little extra money for the burrito that i was craving at chipotle i walked over to that stand and after placing my order stepped back and observed the guy behind me ordering he said how about you throw some guacamole on there the lady said that it was an extra 1 89 he said oh serious wow never mind then i quickly knew how i was going to pass it on i reached into my wallet and said to the guy hey here are two dollars you should get that guacamole the guy resisted and said no no no i explained quickly that the man at mcdonalds had just about given me two free meals for my kids and i had promised to pass it on the guy was shocked and so were all the workers that were over hearing our conversation i said you enjoy that guacamole and pass it on too ok he smiled and replied ok i will thank you i couldn t help to giggle to my self as i walked away from the food court did i seriously just buy a guy guacamole yes yes i did and who knows maybe by the end of the day some thing amazing was passed onto someone special all because of a cheery mc donald s manager and someone who loved guacamole so pass it on posted by camille at 10 29 am 8 comments monday may 10 2010 mt rushmore we took a little road trip and we saw mt rushmore it was freezing and windy we didn t stay long because we were cold but even though we were cold the kids wanted to stop and get an ice cream cone it was really cool to see mt rushmore posted by camille at 10 42 am 3 comments raegan 4 years has flown by i can t believe it raegan is so grown up my favorite thing that she says is anytime i leave she yells to me best friends forever mom one day raegan asked me when we were going to be able to share clothes and shoes i told her when she grows bigger and stronger like me later that day i told her that we were going to get pizza for lunch she politely said no thanks i need a homemade sandwich and some carrots so i can get big and strong like you because i want to share clothes with you raegan is always looking out for kade i love watching them care for each other and love each other don t get me wrong the fights they have are look at those cheeks kade is such a joy in our family he keeps us laughing every minute his sense of humor is great he can spiral a foot ball and shoot a basketball perfectly jared loves these pictures of him because he looks like he s being drafted into the nfl so who ever wants to infest in his football career while its cheep you are always welcome to kade love raegan i love watching them play together but the funniest is when it tackles her and takes her down raegan can hold her own pretty good they are about the same weight that s a quick update on our cute kade posted by camille at 7 27 am 4 comments wednesday may 5 2010 california ragnar 2010 its been over a year and so much has happened instead of trying to catch up on everything ill just start with now a few weeks ago i ran another ragnar relay yes another it was number 4 all together i have ran 5 relays in the past 2 1 2 years including red rock relay and one half marathon crazy i know this one was fun i have a million pictures from this trip but here is just a few this picture cracks me up jared is racing this little laddy look how big he is compared to her this was my last leg of the race finnishing 19 miles nice and strong shelley ran part of my night run with me april shelley and me getting pumped to start running these are the legs i ran 7 19 31 this is jared right before he runs one of his legs i think in this picture his 5 hour energy drink kicked in we both got really silly durring this race we made it this was the finnish line we are excited for red rock relay in september this is such a fun group
