scifibaby scifibaby tuesday january 11 2011 resurfacing it s about that time fet 2 here we come later this spring starting to prep now exercising eating healthier etc i am so excited i can barely stand it long update to come at the end of the week probably i can t wait to get updated on the blogs posted by brooke at 3 33 pm 10 comments tuesday july 13 2010 8 weeks today i don t know how i have gotten through these last 8 weeks they have been mostly hellish with a few brighter moments i ll share one photo of the dozen that we have of our precious little boy we miss him so much posted by brooke at 3 44 pm 14 comments wednesday june 30 2010 uplift i ve gotta say i am feeling better these days a little crying yesterday and some aggression but then i realized i just started up a new prescription prednisone and i forgot how it messes with me my ra is acting up not too bad trying to nip it in the bud i went to target today and spent 300 00 mostly on bathroom stuff new towels that kind of thing plus some t shirts i haven t gone out shopping by myself for seven months 7 so i had a blast in there wasting time and some might say money i don t care though retail therapy feels great today i think we are going out to pizza and then to see eclipse if if is not sold out or if i am not too tired i bet i am too tired didn t sleep last night see previous mention of prednisone ahh shoot gotta run forgot my dose take care hope you are all doing well and thank you again for all your support i will have to update on hawaii i did as i pleased and it was fabulous posted by brooke at 12 44 pm 6 comments tuesday june 15 2010 not dead only feels like it i am still here barely hanging on i would say this is a lot harder than i thought it would be which is saying a lot i guess i have a few dr s appts this week including one with my very first shrink and i will also be seeing my ob my re and maybe my new neurologist if i can be fit in i ve been having headaches let s leave it at that i ve been to the er four times in 3 weeks for headaches i ve got a prescription for dilaudid among 10 or so other sedatives antidepressants muscles relaxers etc you really would think that one of them would knock out a headache but no so this is not the happy update i would normally like to post i am so used to handling everything life has thrown at me this may be it for me i am ready to call uncle on this whole ttc mess but we ve still got 5 embryos waiting for us in the deep freezer and i can t see not using them i can t see it now not this week or month ask me in september or october hopefully i will be able to see more clearly then we leave for hawaii on sunday and i am pretty excited i just hope i can keep it together the in laws will be there don t want to ruin their trip with nightmare short update update thank you all so much i have read and reread the comments and the support you have given us amazes me we are doing really well i think this morning we wrote letters to our little boy and dropped them off at the funeral home that will be doing the cremation over the weekend we picked out a beautiful wood box to keep the ashes in i am going to be going with dh on his upcoming work trip to san diego so we are looking at flights and hotels he just informed me that we are flying first class so that is something to look forward to fancy schmancy gotta go pick out a hotel and book a kennel for the dog a change of scenery will be good thank you all so much again i can t express how much your comments mean to me just want to give a quick update this past monday night my water broke went to l d found out it was indeed amniotic fluid and was admitted to the hospital i had lost all my fluid the next day i delivered a tiny baby boy 100 grams in weight 6 inches long he was adorable with big feet just like daddy i have a lot of pictures and mementos but haven t really looked at that stuff yet we opted to have him cremated so we can keep the remains i lost a lot of blood after the labor and delivery over a liter and had to have a d c when the placenta wouldn t come out on its own the labor i did without meds not too painful since i didn t have to dilate to 10 cm but then it was decided i needed an emergency d c i was loaded up with versed and morphine and after i was pretty out of it i was then given an epidural i was awake for the epi but i have no memory of it i don t really remember any of the time leading up to the surgery i guess because i was delirious from the blood loss i did hear someone say her lips are white i probably checked out after that everything went fine after that and i only had to spend two days in the hospital the doctors and nurses were awesome and made the whole ordeal so much better than i had expected we are so sad now and just taking it easy it really is horrible i had gotten my hopes up for this pregnancy like an idiot i guess that s it for now i probably won t be posting anything for a while but i will gtt results oops i didn t pass i earned a 144 crapola next up the 3 hr gtt this thursday at 7 30 am i was thinking of dragging my husband with me to keep me company but the person on the phone said to come alone it was sort of ominous if i don t pass the 3 hr gtt it ll be a week or to of monitoring my blood sugar on my own and if that doesn t work i ll be put on glyburide and if that fails i guess it s on to insulin shots i am thinking of amping up the protein and cutting out fruit juice but other than that there isn t much to change with my diet i wonder since there isn t a lot of room to change my diet if that does not bode well for me if i was eating oreo s all day there might be more room for improvement i guess shoot well i ll hope for the best and even if it come to taking those
