have abandoned her minu let me tell you about my feel good experience i spoke i was on my usual visit to my brother s house in india they have had a domestic helper urmila for thirty plus years her family lived behind my brother s house one morning i saw urmila s grandbaby and a boy playing in the kitchen i went to my sister in law and asked who is this cute little boy with urmila s granddaughter oh there is an interesting story about this boy urmila s brother and wife lived in a small village and they were childless one time they were visiting someone in a rural hospital they came to know that one woman had ran away leaving a newborn baby boy the doctor in charge was worried about what to do because there were no social services urmila s brother stepped in and adopted this boy this happy ending brought a smile to minu s face but i was smacked with a shocking end and minu concluded her story years had gone by minu s daughter was in college she brought her new friend neha લાગણી ભરપૂર માનસિક વિચાર વંટોળ સ્પષ્ટતા કાવ્યરૂપ સ્વરૂપ રજૂઆત સતત ચાલુ છે માટે અભિનંદન કૌટુંબિક વારસો અત્મબળે વિકસિત કરી પ્રવિણ બની રહેવું તે ગૌરવની વાત છે હરિશ ભટ્ટ હું તો શું કહું તમારી પર માતા સમેટતી હું શ્વાસમાં દુઃખ નાં દીવામાં સુખવાટ વણી બેઠી છું ઘૂઘવતા સાગરમાં નાનીશી નાવમાં હળવાં હલેસાંથી હામ ધરી બેઠી છું ઓચિંતા ભમરાતી ડમરીની દોડમાં રજકણ બની અંક આકાશે ઊઠી છું અંજળ નાં આંસુથી આંખોની આહમાં કરુણાનું કાજળ લગાવીને બેઠી છું ઉર નાં સન્નાટામાં લાગણી નાં ગીતમાં ઝીણા ઝણકારને વધાવીને બેઠી છું નક્કી છે આવશે પણ ખાલી એ વાયદા ક્યારનીયે મુજને શણગારીને બેઠી છું સરી રહ્યો સથવારો મમતા નાં મેળામાં our office of domestic violence she looked pretty in her indian outfit she started talking in hindi she said namaste my name is shobha my husband and i are in the process of getting divorce i need some help from your organization she told me her story and i presented it to our board members shohba lived in an upper class comfortable home with her businessman husband and a teenage daughter mina her older son was on his own and did not care to keep close contact with his parents shobha a submissive dutiful wife managed to tolerate her husband s verbal abuse to keep peace in the house her husband labeled shobha as a half mad silly woman she was raised in india in a very traditional family so she remained a loyal wife through 20 years of their married life shobha s teenage daughter has સંસ્થામાં એક ભદ્ર મહિલા આવી ગોરો વાન અને ભરાવદાર બાંધાવાળી આદર્શ ગૃહિણી સમી લાગતી હતી હિન્દીભાષામાં તેણે મારી સાથે વાતચીત શરૂ કરી મારું નામ શોભા મારા પતિને છૂટાછેડા લેવા છે તેની ફરિયાદ છે કે હું થોડી ગાંડી છું અને મારા કારણે અમારી દીકરી બગડી ગઈ છે નાનપણથી મારો સ્વભાવ અસ્થિર કહેવાતો પણ આપણા જૂના રીત રિવાજ પ્રમાણે કેળવાયેલી છોકરીની જાત નમ્રતા સ્વભાવમાં વણાયેલી હોવાથી મારું જીવન ઠીક જઈ રહ્યું હતું પરંતુ મારી અમેરિકામાં ઊછરેલી કિશોરવયની દીકરીની શું વાત કરું તેનામાં ઉન્માદ અને ઉદાસીનો અતિરેક જોતા અમે તેને મનોચિકિત્સક પાસે લઈ ગયા ત્યારે આ સ્વભાવને નામ મળ્યું બાયપોલાર અને મારા પતિને ખાત્રી છે કે બાયપોલાર ડિસઓર્ડર આ બીમારીના પ્રમુખ લક્ષણો વ્યવહારમાં બદલાવ આવવો છે દર્દી જેમાં અતિશય ઉત્સાહ અને અતિશય નિરાશા જેવા બે અંતિમો વચ્ચે ઝોલાં ખાધા કરે થોડા લોકો સ્વભાવથી અસ્થિર હોય છે જેનો અર્થ એવો નથી કે તેઓ બીમાર છે સામાન્ય રીતે બાયપોલાર ડિસઓર્ડરના પ્રાથમિક લક્ષણો કિશોરાવસ્થા અને યુવાનીના પ્રથમ ચરણમાં જ જોવા મળી જાય છે નિરાશામાં વ્યક્તિ ખૂબ જ નિષ્ક્રિય થઇ જાય છે અને ઉન્માદમાં ખૂબ જ સક્રિય થઇ જાય છે થોડા મુખ્ય લક્ષણોમાં જોઈએ તો ઉત્કટ ઉદાસી અથવા ઉન્માદની લાગણી શંકા સંશયગ્રસ્ત ઊંઘ બહુ ઓછી બેચેન અને ઉશ્કેરાયેલી માનસિક અવસ્થા ફોકસ ધ્યાન એકત્રિત કરવાની મુશ્કેલી મૃત્યુ અથવા આત્મહત્યાના વિચારો લગભગ ૫0 ટકા દરદીઓમાં આ વિકાર વારસાગત હોય છે બંને પ્રકારના એપિસોડ્સની દવાઓ પણ અલગ અલગ હોય છે અનેકવાર આ વિકાર આપમેળે પણ ઠીક થઇ જાય છે પરંતુ સાવધાની માટે મનોચિકિત્સક પાસે સલાહ લેવી જરૂરી છે ઘણા કલાકારો જેવા કે મહાન સંગીતકાર બિથોવન નારીવાદની પ્રણેતા વર્જિનિયા વુલ્ફ મહાન પેઇન્ટર વાન ગોગ વગેરે પણ આ રોગના શિકાર હતા એ દિવસે મળવાના સમય કરતાં શોભા થોડી મોડી આવી મોડું થઈ ગયું માફ કરજો પણ ગઈ રાતના નવેક વાગે મારી દીકરી અમને ન ગમે તેવા કપડા પહેરી બહાર જવા નીકળી એક તો ચાલુ સ્કૂલના દિવસો અને તેના મિત્રો સામે મને અણગમો હોવાથી મેં તેને જવાની ના પાડી મને ગાંઠતી નહોતી તેથી મારા પતિ વચ્ચે પડ્યા અને પરાણે તેના રૂમમાં ધકેલી કકળાટ થઈ ગયો અમારા ત્રણે માટે રાત અને સવાર બહુ ખરાબ હતી શોભા ચિડાઈને બોલી છોકરીનો ગુસ્સો તેનો બાપ મારા પર ઉતારે છે મેં તેને ઠંડુ પાણી આપી શાંત થવાનો સમય આપ્યો પછી મેં કહ્યું કે અમે એક સેવાભાવી વકીલની સલાહ લીધી છે તેની સાથે તમારી મુલાકાત ગોઠવી તમારો મુકદ્દમો તૈયાર કરી શકશો આ વાતથી શોભાના ચહેરા...
