વિશ્વમાંથી ખેંચી લાવતા પાલીતાણા ગામ સુધી ભાવનગરથી માત્ર પંચાવન કિલો મીટરની stone throwing road tripથી પહોંચી જવાય શેત્રુંજય પર્વત પર અગિયારમી સદી આસપાસ બંધાયેલા જૈન મંદિર સમૂહોને લીધે સૌરાષ્ટનું આ પાલીતાણા ગામ બારેમાસ યાત્રાળુઓ સ્થાપત્યનો અભ્યાસ કરતાં અભ્યાસીઓ અને જૈનધર્મના કુલ ચોવીસ તીર્થંકરોના સત્વથી સભર રહેતું હોય છે આણંદજી કલ્યાણજી ટ્રસ્ટ કહે છે કે વર્ષ ૨૦૧૦માં કુલ ચાર લાખ યાત્રાળુઓ શેત્રુંજય પર્વત પર કુલ નવ ઝૂમખામાં પથરાયેલા આઠસો હજાર મંદિરોની યાત્રાએ આવ્યા હતા આ જાણીને આપણને એવું લાગે કે સતત ચાલતી આવી યાત્રાઓના પ્રવાહો જૈનીઝમની શ્વેતાંબર પરંપરાના આ પવિત્ર યાત્રાધામની ફરફરતી ધજા પતાકાને અખંડ રાખે છે આપણે પણ આ અખંડ ચાલતી યાત્રાના પ્રવાહમાં ભળવું હોય તો શિયાળો ઉત્તમ રહે શિયાળામાં જઈએ તો શિયાળાની ખુશનુમા ઋતુએ બપોર પોતાનો તડકો વેરતી મંદિર પરિસરમાં છવાયેલી દેખાય અને ઘુમ્મટો ઘંટો અને સ્તંભો પરથી ઉતરતા તડકા છાયા હજારેક વર્ષો પહેલાના શાસન શાસકો સ્થળ કાળ સ્થપતિની કલા કારીગરી અને કુશળતાને લઈને સ્થિર થયેલા દેખાય આવી સ્થિર થયેલી ક્ષણોને અવલોકી વાંચી અને કેપ્ચર કરીએ ત્યારે બપોરના તડકાના ઝળાંઝળાં ફોરગ્રાઉન્ડ પાછળ ઋતુઓની જાહોજલાલી જીલીને સમૃધ્ધ થયેલા ઘુમ્મટો જોવા મળે અને જોવા મળે એ ઘુમ્મટો નીચે સચવાયેલો સમય અને શ્રધ્ધા પણ આવું મિલન સ્થળ કાળને અતિક્રમી આપણા અંતર મનને અડે અને ધીમા સ્વરે કહે કે પ્રાચીન મંદિરો અને મંદિર સમૂહો શ્રધ્ધાના એવા સ્તંભો છે જેના પર આપણા હિન્દુસ્તાનની સમૃદ્ધિનો સુવર્ણકાળ સચવાયેલો છે એ સાચવણ માત્ર પસાર થયેલા સમયની જ નહિ પરંતુ તે સાથે સાથે તે સાચવણી આપણી તરીકે મારા મામા કવિ નાથાલાલ દવેને તેમની નાની બહેન મારા બા ભાગીરથી પર વિશેષ સ્નેહ હતો ભાવનગરમાં અમારાં બન્ને પરિવાર વચ્ચે ગહેરો સંબંધ રહેલો નાથાલાલ દવેનું ગરવું વ્યક્તિત્વ અને કાવ્યોની રસભરી રજુઆત કરવાની શૈલીથી ઘણા લોકપ્રિય હતા નિવૃત્ત થયા પછી પણ ઘણા પ્રવૃત્ત રહેતા મારા ભાઈ મુનિભાઈ નાનપણથી કવિતા લખતા અને નાથુમામા સાથે લાગણીભરી નિકટતા હતી મુનિભાઈ વડોદરામાં સ્થાયી થયા અને હું અમેરિકા આવી ગયેલી તેથી ભાવનગરમાં એકલા રહેતા મારા બાને મામાની ઘણી હુંફ રહેતી એ સમયે મામાની ઉંમર ૭૮ની હતી અને ભૂલી જવાની બિમારી શરૂ થઈ ઘણી વાર રસ્તો ભૂલી જાય વગેરે અનેક તકલિફો શરૂ થઈ હતી બાને ઘરે દિવસના એક કે બે વખત આવે બા દુધનો પ્યાલો આપે તે પીવે ક્યારેક ફરી આવે અને કહે કે ભાગુબેન દુધ બા કહે ભાઈ તમે પી લીધું ભલે કહીને ઘેર જતા રહે ૧૯૯૩માં બાનું વડોદરામાં અવસાન થયું અમેરિકા પાછા ફરવાનું હતું તેથી હું ભાવનગર મામા અને બીજા સગાને મળવા ગઈ હતી મામા એવા જ શાંત અને ગૌરવવંતા દેખાતા હતા પણ મને જોઈને અજાણ્યા સાથે વાત કરતા હોય તેમ વાત કરી મારા એ મામા જે હું અમેરિકાથી આવું કે વહેલી સવારમાં પહેલા મળવા આવી પંહોચ્યા હોય કે ગરમ જલેબી અને ગાંઠીયા લઈને આવીને અનેક વખત મને આશ્ચર્યાનંદમાં મૂકી દેતા એ મામાને મારી ઓળખ આપવી આંખો સહેજે ભરાઈ આવી અઠવાડિયા પછી મુનિભાઈ ભાવનગર ગયા અને બા ભાગીરથીબહેનના માનમાં બેસણું હતું મામા મુનિભાઈની બાજુમાં નિર્લેપ ભાવે બેઠા હતા અને લોકો પોતાની બહેનને શ્રધ્ધાંજલિ આપી રહ્યા છે તે જાણ ન હતી બાની યાદમાં મુનિભાઈનું દિલ વ્યાકુળ હતું અને તેને મામાના ખભા પર માથું ઢાળી રડવું હતું પણ બાજુમાં નજર કરી તો ત્યાં એક ખોવાયેલા સજ્જન બેઠા હતા મુનિભાઈનું હ્રદય કરૂણતાથી તડપી ઊઠ્યું મારા મામા અહીં નથી ત્યારબાદ ત્રણ મહિનામાં મામા કવિ નાથાલાલ દવે પરલોકમાં કવિતા લખવા ચાલ્યા ગયા સરયૂ પરીખ comments beautiful just
